- Barry M Shade 303 - Purple
- Models Own Juicy Jules
- Rimmel 239 - Your Majesty
Steps
- Always start with a base coat
- Paint your nails with the desired colour - in my case the purple.
- Wait for this to dry
- Use the Rimmel - Your Majesty to add "french manicure" tips on the end of your nails. This will just make the ends look darker under the glitter
- Once this is dry start to add the glitter in stages. Start by painting a coat about half way down the nail
- Then moving closer to the end of your nail tip add more glitter so the most glitter is at the tips of your nail.
I had ready quite a lot about stippling brushes online and saw people used them to put their foundation on and after trying this I have to say I love it. Its quite a lot for a brush but I love it!
And because of my cheekiness it meant I could get a Eye colour makeup brush for £2.25 and the bronzer I use for £7.50.
I will no doubt do some reviews on the individual products! :)
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think??
So I hope you are all full of yummy pancakes! :)
Sorry for the lack of tutorial Tuesday post today. It was mad at work today and I didn't finish until late and veibg totally unprepared I hadn't got anything planned.
So tomorrow (Ash Wednesday) begins the start Lent. Now I know it is customary for people to give things up for lent. Some people do it just because its on of those things you do. Others to strengthen their faith.
I thought long and hard about what I wanted to give up for lent and I have decided to get rid of all the crap from my life. And so this lent I stall be giving up:
- Chocolate
- Sweets
- Cakes and Biscuits
- Fizzy Drinks
I also want to make the time this lent to say thank you to God more for everything that I have.
Are you giving up anything for lent???
I was going to share with you a wonderful video I made this afternoon. I spent all afternoon recording videos to share with you all via my new youtube channel and I am gutted because none of them are internet worthy. For some reason all my videos have this really weird whirring noise on them... if you watched the video I did yesterday you may have heard it on there and its even worse on the ones I did today. :( So gutted.
I dont understand what is making the noise... but I cant record any videos until I discover what it is because they are not watchable. I promise I will be back with videos asap.
You will have to ignore the weird buzzing sound, I, not entirely sure what this is, its possibly because I dont have a mic plugged into my camera (its on my to buy list). I am hoping that will fix this...
I have done a Tag - about me/13 personal questioned post which all in all has 37 questions on but I think I may re-do it when I get a mic as I am not sure what the sound is like on it.
So if your on Youtube guys then hit the subscribe button on my channel. I am going to be bringing nail art tutorials to you very soon!!!!

So I thought I would do a bit of a tutorial Tuesday with a difference this week and share a recipe that was in one of the Mary Berry recipe books that nanna and grandad got me for my birthday.
What you need:
- 1 celery stick
- 1 medium onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 500g minced beef
- 3tbsp plain flour
- 150ml beef stock
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 500g Tagiatelle
The recipe also had 150ml of red wine but I didn't use this.
1) Put celery, onion and carrot in an oiled pan and cook on a low heat until soft
2) Add mince and cook until brown
3) Add flour, stock and tomatoes and stir
4) Add to cooked Tagiatelle and stire in
5) If you want to add a bit of cheese either in or on top
I apologise the picture is just one of the book, I made this tonight and in the excitement to eat it totally forgot to take a picture of it :P

Last night me and a few of my besties went to a local chinese resturant (yum yum). It was so nice as I havent seen one of the girls who came since I saw her fleetingly at Graduation in December, as she lives about 30 miles away in Northwich so I dont get to see her as much as would be nice. And of course I had my lovely best friend Matt and Liam there too. It was so lovely, I much prefer going out in a small group like that. We caught up, We laughed and genuinly had a really nice time.
Me and Liam
Hey girlies.
Those of you who follow me on twitter may have seen me posting that today was my birthday :)
It was quite strange as this year is the first year I have had to work and not been at school or uni.. very strange indeed. It was a nice day though as we were not too busy.
I was a very very lucky girl. Remember the video camera I have mentioned a couple of time... mum and dad had brought it for me!! And it was the purple one I really waneed but I hadnt said anything to mum which shows how well she knows me :) so keep your eyes peeled for blog videos coming soon :D
Had lots of other lovely things too! Some Mary Berry cook books, clothes, money, smellies and some Myleene Class Nail Foil which are lush and i can't wait to try. I shall of course review :D
Anyway I am off to spend the last 58 minutes of my birthday in the land of nod hoping this cold goes away.

So anyway how cool is this tshirt. I have seen quite a few different tutorials online of people customing clothes and stuff and I saved this on my computer from ages ago when I came across it on google reader. I love to see customised or hand made clothes and wouldnt mind having a go of some of the things I have seen myself.
Have you made or customised any outfits yourself? Do share!
Well this is my second nail art today. I had lovely purple nail with glitter tips on my ring finger for going out tonight however I smudged them all pulling my leggings up in a rush to get ready and then leaving do I should have been going to got cancelled due to the stupid snow! Its so deep here!! I haven't seen snow like this before! It better disappear because its my birthday in 4 days (although I am not going out until next Friday)
So I decided to settle down in my Pj's, a cup of Horlicks and take me out (that last guy! i mean seriously!) and decided to redo my nails!!
I think I did this on a nail wheel as a test a while back and I know I have expressed on a number of occasions how much I love this glitter nail polish!
Anyway this is Barry M Foil in Silver with Rimmel Disco Ball Glitter Top coat :)
