Clinique 3 Step Routine

So we had a bit of a chat about skin care - well keeping your skin in tip top condition... Way back in November when me and my bestie went for our girly weekend in Birmingham, I mentioned that I picked up Cliniques 3 Step skincare routine.

This set is made up of (as you would expect) 3 Steps and so you get 3 products -

  • 50ml Liquid Soap
  • 100ml Clarifying Lotion
  • 30ml dramatically different moisturising lotion +
First up you use the liquid soap to wash your face. I really like this because it feels lovely on my skin and unlike some of the liquid soaps I have used, doesn't make my skin feel tight.

Once I have used the liquid soap, I then go in with stage 2 which is effectively a toner. I use a cotton pad just to get rid of any left over dirt or make up off my face and make sure it is squeaky clean!

Then once I have done steps 1 and 2 I go in with Step 3 which is the moisturiser. Now I have to say, I can not say that I am overly keen on this moisturise - to me it smells a little bit like play-do but it certainly has a nice feel to it when you put it on, so the smell is probably something you could get past.

Now what I really love about Cliniques 3 step skincare range is that if you speak to the lovely people at the Clinique counter (or you can take the test on the Clinique website here) when you are looking for this, they can tailer it for your skincare needs. Each of the products mentioned above is available in 4 different options, depending on your skin type;
  1. Very Dry - Dry
  2. Dry Combination
  3. Combination Oily
  4. Oily
If your in the market for trying some new skin care I would definitely head on down to your nearest Clinque counter and check this out. The set mentioned above is £20 and is great if your wanting to give the products a try. They are also handy little size for traveling. In fact I have already picked up full sizes of Steps 1 and 2 and am saving the others for when I go away in May.

Have you tried cliniques 3 step skin care routine? What do you think??
