Weekend in London

So if you follow me on instagram or twitter you will have seen that me and Matt went down to London for the weekend. We planned the trip before Christmas and to coincide with it, I had booked Matt tickets for Matilda that we were both desperate to see for Christmas! Now me and Matt have very little self control when it comes to the Theatre so we pretty much knew we would end up with tickets for at least 1 other show. The tickets were for Matilda were for Friday night and since we were there Friday morning to Sunday night there was opportunity to see another 3 shows, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
So after we hot footed to the hotel to drop our bags off we jumped on the tube to Leicester Square to see what we could get. We always get tickets from the same place in Leicester Square; just as you get off the tube by the Hippodrome Casino. However this time we didn't manage to pick up anything and were told to come back on the Saturday morning. We did pop into a couple of theatres during the day and managed to get tickets for 39 Steps, Wicked and the Lion King!!!

We decided this time we were going to go to see some of the museums after saying we would do it nearly every time we went. Friday afternoon we headed over to the Natural History Museum for a couple of hours and Saturday we spent a couple of hours at the Science Museum. On Sunday we did a tour of the Royal Albert Hall, stay tuned for a separate post on that coming this week. Overall it was a fantastic weekend, the shows we saw were absolutely amazing! Again I will do separate posts on these too!

Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks for individual posts on the things we got up to!
