Well its arrived!!! The March Glossy Box done by Harrods!!!
I did say last month that I would see how this month went to see if I was going to cancel my subscription or not and I have to say I am very impressed with this months box. Although they are not all products that I will personally use, my mum - who I share the box with - will use them :)
So heres what I got this month -
I completely LOVE the Burberry lipstick. It has a lovely moisture texture to it which I like in a lipstick because I think some can be a bit dry. I'll let you know what my mum thinks of the products she is trying...
If you fancy it pop over to youtube and watch my video blog of me opening my box and what I think of the products. :)

So after waiting just under 2 weeks longer than it should have arrived, my Glossy Box finally turned up on Thursday. I would like to tell you that it was totally worth the wait but I have to say, Glossy Box I am disappointed this month. I know there have been very mixed reviews about this months Glossy Box. Some people have totally been in love with what they got and others havent really liked what they got, to the point where they were so disappointed with this months box they cancelled their subscription.
So here is what came in my box.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is how .. well .. small everything was.. having only had 2 boxes before this which were packed with products so much that none of them could move you could see the difference as soon as you opened this box.
The products:
I am willing to give Glossy box the benefit of the doubt for this month and give them another month to up their game and from what I have so far heard about the March Box - Harrods are designing it - it is set to be good! If not I shall be unsubsribing and looking for another beauty box.
I have done a video / ramble about Glossy box too which is currently taking forever to upload.. I shall share when it is done! :)
Have you had this months Glossy Box?? What did you think???

The products:
- Paul Mitchell Styling Treatment Oil (£25.95) - Without using this product I know that I am going to get absolutely NO use out of it because this is not suited to my hair at all. It makes me wonder why I bothered filling the questionnaire at all... Looking at the other Paul Mitchell products which could have appeared in my Glossy Box any of the others would have been more suited.
- Becca Beach Tint Watermelon (£20) - This one is probably the only one of the items in the Glossy Box that I totally love this month. It says that it a lip and cheek tint but I think I wont be using it on my cheeks as its the wrong shade - I cant use pinky shades on my cheeks (I use bronzer for blusher) - However I totally love it as a lip tint! I dont really like wearing lipstick, I am more of a gloss girl so this one with a bit of colour in, I LOVE! I wouldnt pay the full retail price for it though...
- BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eye Shadow (£7) - Having recently fallen in love with Mineral Foundation/Powder I was quite looking forward to trying this product. The black colour is got isnt one I would have picked myself but I am willing to give it a try.
- Dr Bronners Magic Lavender Hand Sanitiser (£3.99) - I could spell this product as soon as I took the Glossy Box from the outer packaging. There is just something about lavender which reminds me of old ladies.. (sorry stereotype I know)... I tried spraying this on my hands and I loved the idea that it is a spray instead of a gel because you can spray as much or as little as you want. However I really dislike the smell. I think Lavender is one of those smells you just dont want lingering especially on your hands! I definately wont be using this!
- Como Sambhala Invigorate Shower Gel (£20) - Again with the above I TOTALLY dislike this smell!! I like a shower gel thats fruity or girly and this to me isnt anything like this, to me it smells quite masculine (maybe thats just me). Probably wont use.

Reviews for products to follow :)
Ok girlies you have probably seen what was in the December Glossy box all over since it came out before christmas and I know I posted what I had gone in mine when it came after I took advantage of the offer that you would get the December Glossy Box if you subscribed in early Jan.
Well this isnt about the Glossy Box as a whole - its about one of the sample products that came in it. It wasnt one of the actually products, more of an extra one that came with the Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish.
I had read a couple of reviews online to say that these strips were amazing for taking off glitter nail polish. Having read it from several sources and the fact it came with the extremely glittery Razzle Dazzle in the Glossy Box I believed the blog-a-sphere. So I decided to use it to take off the pink glitter models own nails off that I had on in order to put the Razzle Dazzle on.

I was SO disappointed with this strip. The first thing I noticed was that it came with no instructions which ok may sound stupid, I mean we all know how to take off nail varnish off right but since I had not used this kind of mitt before I wasnt sure if it should go on my index finger and use to get the varnish off the other nails or to put it on each nail and press on (a bit like the tin foil method).
I decided to go for the index finger method and I found it SO hard to get the nail varnish off! As you can see from the picure it took the varnish off just 2 fingers - well the thumb and half the index finger because as you can see its not all completely gone from it! And the mitt went completely dry!
Now this product retails at £14 for 6 mitts. Each mitt is meant to take of nail varnish from 10 fingers. I can see if you had just plain nail varnish on your nails it probably would do all 10 nails but having heard so many things about it taking off glitter - I thought it would withstand for at least 1 hand! This product is probably worth just under £2.50 which I think it is not really worth. After these 2 fingers I ended up using nail polish removed and cotton wool to get the rest of (which probably didnt cost me £2.50 and I can do loooooads of nails with that whole bottle).
Definaltey will not be purchasing these. Did you have the December Glossy Box? Have you tried these strips? Whats your view?

So Glossybox have been running a promotion after Christmas to get the December Glossybox if you start a subscription. I have been wanting to subscribe to Glossybox for a while after reading lots of blogs about what people have been having in them over the past few months and after seeing some of the contents of the december box I thought I would go for it. I was very excited when my box arrived on thursday.
My Box contained:
My Box contained:
- Nip and Fab Spot Fix - This retails for £9.95 and this one is the full 15ml size. I have been using this the past few days and can say I can see the difference. It feels quite nice on my skin and rubs in well without feeling greasy.
- Rituals Foaming Shower Gel -This shower gel retails for £6.50 and I had seen quite a lot of boxes which contained the pink shower gel so I was pleasently surprised when mine was brown. I used this the other day in the shower and it smells lovely. Its probably not for everyone but I really liked it. At £6.50 I am not sure I would buy it at full price as I think its a lot to pay but its certainly nice.
- Blink and Go Eyeshadow and Blush Palette -This palette retails for £14.95. I hadnt seen any boxes with the palette in (most had got the mascara in instead). I havent used any of the colours yet but I may do a swatch of it soon. I do like the packet that it comes in with the eye shadow on the top and then the blusher underneath. And it just generally looks quite pretty.
- Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lip Gloss -A full sized tube of this gloss is £10. I am totally in love with Soap and Glory's sexy mother pucker but this is quite a nice shade and is a nice small size so you could fit it into a small bag if you were going on a night out.
- Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Nail Varnish -This is one of the products that when I had been reading about the December Glossybox - this is what I was looking forward to trying - you know my love for glitter nail polish. I will do a seperate nail post about this but it is lush. It retails for £16 for a full sized one.
- Deborah Lippman Stripped to Go Sachet - This pack contained one of the sachets and it said that it would remove 10 nails. It retails for £14 for a pack of 6. I am going to do a seperate blog post about this as I used it on thursday night.
