January.. the month where its no longer christmas.. its cold.. miserable and quite often pay day is always a million miles away (darn you getting paid early for christmas!).
Make Plans
Whatever sort of plans you like. Holiday plans. Weekends away. Have something you can look forward to. Myself and Adam have just booked 4 days in London at the end of February when we have a week off together and I absolutely can not WAIT! Not only that we have second row seats for Les Mis!
Make a good old list
In that gap between christmas and new year, I found myself a page at the back of my new diary and I wrote myself a list. It can be any list you like. For me it was things I wanted to get done in our home this year. Armed with pinterest and some ideas I've already enjoyed planning what we can do.
Find a new TV series (or catch up on one you love)
I love Greys Anatomy and what with the hecticness leading up to Christmas I have about 5 or 6 episodes to binge watch! There are some seriously good series over on Amazon Prime and Netflix that I am eyeing up too so send over any recommendations if you have any..
Me Time
There really is nothing like curling up with a book and a blanket and January is the perfect time to snuggle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate in one hand and a book in the other! Bliss - Im currently reading a book called Get your Sh*t together which I picked up at New Year..
Try something new
It doesn't have to be anything elaborate... just try something different? Shake things up a bit.
Do you have any tips for staying positive in January??
