I have been toying with the idea of trying BB creams for a while but to be honest was a little overwhelmed by all the different ones that were available.
After the lovely weather we have been having recently I decided I fancied trying a BB cream as a coverage rather than wearing a foundation.
I decided to take opportunity of the fact that No7 had a £5 off voucher in Boots a few weeks ago. Because I wasn't really sure what to go for I decided to try the No7 one because I could ask the lady on the counter for her advice as to if she thought a BB Cream would be the correct way to go compared with something like a tinted moisturiser.
I ended up with the Beautiful Skin BB Cream. She advised me to get the Normal/Dry one as I have some parts of my skin which tend to get dried out. I went with shade Medium as I am quite olive skinned and the good thing about getting in from the No7 counter was that she matched me with the correct colour as I am always unsure about which colour to go for as sometimes colours can look very similar.
The BB Cream retails at £12.95 so compared with others is a little more expensive but with the £5 off voucher made it £7.95 which puts it around level with other "high street" brands of the same size. Heres what the Boots site says:
"Take off those winter layers and reveal your outer beauty this spring
with new No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream. Its unique 3-in-1 formula evens
and enhances skin tone and disguises imperfections, while the
nutrient-enriched formula helps to banish blemishes."
I have used this quite a few times now on days when I am just nipping into town or not really going anywhere but don't want to wear much make up. I am really enjoying this product. It feels so nice when it goes on. My skin feels so light and it gives me a really nice coverage without being heavy on my skin.
Overall I think I am very impressed with this product. I would defiantly buy this product again. I am not sure if I would pay full price for it but I would defiantly buy again when they have the £5 off vouchers.
Did you buy anything new with the £5 off vouchers or do you just get a firm favorite and stock up??
