Now I don't know about anyone else but I am one of those people who overpacks rather than under packs. As I hadn't been to Centre Parc's before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I chucked some bits into my make up bag not really knowing what I would and would not use but I thought I would share with you anyway.
I'll admit that I barely used half of the make up I took with me, its all a learning curve right! And it is better to have more with you than less isn't it!??!
Top left to right:
- Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara
- Soap and Glory Super Cat Liner
- Topshop Khol Liner
- Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
- Covergirl Mascara
- Maybelline Baby Skin
- Bobbi Brown Corrector
- Bobbi Brown Concealor
- Maybelline Matt Face Powder
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
- Build your own Mac Palette
- Mac Paint pot in Bare Study
- No 7 Mineral Foundation
- Clinique Blusher
- Naked 2 Palette
- Benefit Rockateur Blush
- Hoola Bronzer
As I say I barely used most of the stuff I took. The thing I used the most was the No 7 Mineral Foundation which I am loving atm. Teamed with a bit of Hoola Bronzer, a dab of bare study and a little lash of mascara it was the perfect day time look. Since we spent most of the evenings in the villa apart from the first night when we went bowling when I wore the double wear by Estee Lauder which again I am loving, I just kept my day make up on at night too.
Are you an overpacker on holiday?
♥
Hello my lovelies? How are we all on this fine very chilly sunday?
I thought I would bob on and just share a few nosey photos with you from my birthday celebrations over the past couple of days - my birthday having been yesterday!
On Friday night me and my family decided that we were going to go out for a Curry. One of the curry places that we have our take away if ever we have one has just moved to a new bigger venue and we have never tried the restaurant part of it so we decided we would go here. Here I am with my Dad and mum on the left and my brother and his fiancé on the right! We had such a lovely night and a right giggle.
Yesterday we went out for breakfast - just the 4 of us which was lovely - obviously as we are growing up these occurrences of there just being the 4 of us are getting less and less and my brother obviously spends a lot of time with his fiancé so it is lovely when the 4 of us actually do things like this!
I opened my presents yesterday morning and was greeted with this gorgeous new ring - I knew this is what I was having as I had picked it a few weeks ago and had to have my ring finger remeasured as the reason I wanted to get a new ring is that my other one I had for my 18th was getting too big so I have swapped it on to my middle finger on my left hand for now.
I had money from my Nanna and Grandad who thought it would be better for me to be able to get something for my holiday and I had money from the girls at work because we have started a collection thing where we all put £5 when it is someones birthday.
One of my friends at work was naughty and brought me a present and got me the Naked 2 palette which now completes my set of the 3 - which makes me very excited and spoilt for choice now!
My brother and his fiancé got me a cocktail making set complete with recipe book, shaker and little umbrellas and we definitely had some fun with this last night!
And of course what is a birthday without cake? We had my Nanna and grandad round to our house last night and my brothers fiancé and had a buffet and cake and a good old giggle!
Overall a pretty smashing birthday I would say! And so far 25 is treating me quite well! Lets hope being a quarter of a century stays this good!

I tend to try not to do FOTD posts because I can never seem to get the photo good enough.. its a work in progress but I am working on it :) So this times FOTD is no different, I took the photo while waiting for my friend to come and pick me up but you will get the idea :)
So heres the products that I used
No7 Mineral foundation, Benefit porefessional, Benefit fake up concealer, Topshop cream stick blush in Acting Up, No 7 Bronzer, Mac Paint Pot in Bare Study, Hustle (from Naked palette) on Crease, Benefit They are real mascara (top lashes), Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara and Rimmel Acropalips in Big Bang.
I am also wearing false lashes which I picked up from Claires a couple of weeks ago, basically because they were on 3 for 2 in the sale with the Tiara I wanted for the Prom Party I went to! I will do a separate review as I really like them!!!
I am going to try working on taking some decent pictures for FOTD and hope it will get me doing some different looks instead of rocking the same looks every day.
I haven't done one of these for a while so I thought I would share one with you today. I am afraid the actually picture of me isn't that good - I always seem to struggle to take a good picture of myself. Anyway enough rambling, here it is...
As you can see you can't really get a proper idea of it but you can get the general gist.. basically I went for a really simple face and a nude coloured eye. Here is the products that I used:
Firstly seriously how many Real Techniques brushes do I have! Although to be fair they are amazing and affordable which is why I love them, plus the quality is great. I am really loving the Urban Decay palette at the moment. It has been my go to palette every day since I brought it I think - my other shadows will probably be feeling neglected. I am also loving the new Rimmel Mascara. I will do a separate review on both of these but so far so good :)
