So I was thinking about how I could do my nails on saturday when I went out and I had seen quite a few images online about graduated glitter nails. I know that Louise at Sprinkle of glitter did this video about graduated nails with a few examples on a colour wheel and it got me having a bit of a think about it and I came up with this....
I used:
- Barry M Shade 303 - Purple
- Models Own Juicy Jules
- Rimmel 239 - Your Majesty
Steps
- Always start with a base coat
- Paint your nails with the desired colour - in my case the purple.
- Wait for this to dry
- Use the Rimmel - Your Majesty to add "french manicure" tips on the end of your nails. This will just make the ends look darker under the glitter
- Once this is dry start to add the glitter in stages. Start by painting a coat about half way down the nail
- Then moving closer to the end of your nail tip add more glitter so the most glitter is at the tips of your nail.
This is very similar to the very first tutorial tuesday I did with the coloured leopard print nails. However this one is a more classic gold leopard print. I did this before christmas and almost everyone was asking where I had my nails done. The Models Own Gold rush is absolutely AMAZING - if you havent tried it, it is stunning - I dont actually this I have reviewed this yet so look out for that in the future. Hey Guys. Sorry that this was missing between christmas and new year but new year and tutorial tuesday is back! Here I show you how to do Nail Tutorials in a step by step tutorial. Keep your eyes peeled because I have finally ordered a tripod for my phone which means I should be able to start doing video tutorials which I will be posting on to youtube as well as on the blog. I may also branch out to do some make up tutorials but we shall see.

As promised here is the second one of the christmas tutorial tuesdays. This would look fab on either all your nails for a super christmassy look or just on your ring finger with the rest of your nails painted red.
Since its only 12 days till Christmas I thought I would do some christmassy nails for the next 2 weeks Tutorial Tuesdays. So here is the first one :) Christmas Lights :D
