First of all I can not believe it is 12 months since I did this! It doesnt seem like it has been that long! One thing I noticed about 2012 is the lack of photos I seem to have taken - that is definitely something which I am going to change in 2012!!! With the lack of photos I struggled to find something for every month so here is just what I could throw together for my 2012 year :) So from the top left
- The epic Harry Potter Birthday cake which Matt made me
- I kept Lent, without cheating which made me very proud - and I gave up lots of things
- Jubilee Celebrations wearing every bit of Red, White and Blue I could find.
- Getting excited on our trip to west end live where we went for the weekend this year which was AMAZING! And we saw 4 shows over the weekend!!!
- Meeting Des O Connor when we saw the Wizard of Oz
- Mum and Dad renewed their Wedding Vows on the year of their 25th Wedding Anniversary
- We FINALLY made it to the Harry Potter Studio tour and got to walk round the actual set
- I went camping for the first time in about 12 years with my Guide Group
- Finally took the plunge and got some highlights in my hair
- Met Lee Stafford at the Clothes Show
- Clothes Show tickets which I won on Twitter!
- My very first Mac purchase - one of many I believe...
2012 was a pretty epic year! There was also lots of exciting family stuff too including gaining 17 members of family in February and my brother getting engaged in July! The highlights of my year have definately got to be going to London for 3 days in June for West End Live where we saw Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Wizard of Oz and Shrek! Also going to the Harry Potter Studio tour was amazing! As someone who has grown up reading the books and watching the films, seeing where it all came to life was truly incredible.
I am so excited for 2013. I am defiantly going to an amazing year! I am so looking forward to go Florida again and excited for another weekend in London where we have at least 1 show planned - I brought Matt tickers for Matilda for Christmas!
Whatever 2013 brings I will be sure to bring you along for the ride!!!
2011 was an amazing year as you saw from the photos I posted. Highlights of the year include numerous trips to London with my best friend Matt and seeing Les Miserables, Wicked and the Wizard of Oz and my 2 female best friends welcoming their gorgous children into the world, Montana in August and Zak in September!
So looking forward to 2012, I am looking forward to some of the things in the pipe line. At the end of 2011 I joined the church choir and am looking forward to starting this in 2012. I am also looking forward to continuing with being a Guide Leader because I absolutely LOVE it and have some great fun.
I thought it was only fitting that in 2012 I should make 12 resolutions. I have never liked the thought of making new years resolutions because most of them dont last past January so I tend to make "life changes and wishes" instead.
So my life changes and wishes for 2012:
- Pass my driving test - Time to get this one done and off all my lists forever
- Loose Weight - 2012 is going to be the year I make this happen!
- Get back into the gym and use my membership - Ties in with the one above.
- Drink more water - Its good for you. I dont drink too much fizzy stuff but water is good for you!
- Develop a skin care regime - and stick to it - Already started this. Looking much better
- Eat my 5 a day - every day - I probably do this some days but this needs to be every day
- No more sugar in drinks - I seem to have snuck this habbit back in. I like it without so why have it with.
- Use a hair treatment conditioner once a week on my hair - Help my colour last longer, good for your hair too!
- Continue blogging- I love blogging so I would like to build my blog more! I hope by the end of 2012 I will have some more followers, I want to say 50 but I dont know if that is over ambitious!
- Take more photos - I have a lovely SLR camera - use it more!
- Read more - I have a pile of books probably as tall as me waiting to be read, start reading them!
- Continue to experiment - Over the last few weeks I have been experimenting with different looks - fake eye lashes, red lip stick... continue to experiment with my style.
