Right ok.. how is it the 1st May already! This year is going wayyyy too fast. I can not believe it. Its weird, everyone said to me that once christmas was over it would go really fast on the countdown to the wedding but naive little me didn't believe that for a second! I thought it would drag but they were right! I can't even believe its 48 days until we get married! 48 days! Thats 6 weeks and 6 days! Aghhh!!!
I'm so excited. Everything is starting to come together now. I have a to do list the size of my arm but I am surprisingly chilled about the whole thing.
Since I finished my course I've been getting round to do a lot of things, including organising my blog. I especially want to start blogging the lead up to the wedding. I've finally (after years of laziness) started to get my skin care in check and have been organising make up. I've been trying new products, rediscovering old ones and I am finally at a point where I have wanted to sit down and actually write about things.
I have also started to discover more about the business. I have loved discovering all about what this business can offer and for someone who loves discovering new products it is perfect! I have been using some of the products on a regular basis now and can really see what an amazing difference they have made! More about that soon.
Its only 17 days until we go to Mexico (still not started packing), we still only know where we are staying and have no idea about flights etc but hopefully we should find that out this week! Not gonna lie its making me twitchy! :)
Anyway, you should start to see me a bit more now! I have things plotted so keep your eyes peeled. Hope you guys are all ok. Fill me in on your gossip.

This week marked 2 years since I packed up all my crap into boxes (I am not gonna lie there was a lot of it - seriously why do you save some stuff) and me and Adam moved into our first home together.
It honestly thought that moving in with Adam would be easy. Don't get me wrong, the us living together bit is a breeze cuz ya know I'm quite fond of him and getting married and stuff but the other side of it - boys be crazy! I thought growing up with a brother who was practically the same age I would be totally ready for all the bad habits and the boy stuff but heck - its nothing! They have a lot of sneaky little habits and things that nooooo one knows! So here we go!

When it his turn to cook you'll probably end up getting a take away
Adam is terrible for this! I do most of our cooking - mainly because I'm home from work first but on the days Adam has off in the week I normally ask that he cooks since he has been home all day. This normally turns into the question of "Fancy a takeaway" or "come on I'm taking you out for tea" which makes me want to face palm every time. The worse thing is Adam is not a bad cook - he's just lazy.
Your days off are not your own
Remember the days when you could sit on a Saturday or a Sunday and just watch spend all day watching back to back episodes of Greys Anatomy. Yeah thats not gonna happen anymore. I seem to spend most of my weekend running around doing bits and bobs. Tidying the house, Running errands in town, food shopping. All this said don't expect the boy to consider the same. They seem to think their days off are for 10am lie ins and spending all day on the PS4.
They really don't care about interior design
You spot a gorgeous new rug or a cushion or a picture, anything remotely decoratey and its like "yeah its nice" - Ive come to learn they are just not interested in that kind of stuff and 9 times out of 10 will just say its nice to keep you happy.
You'll have to head lock them to get any colour in your life
Adam is a stereotypical boy. When we were choosing colours for rooms with both houses he couldn't understand why every room couldn't be blue.
Nothing is ever where it should be
Boys have no damn concept of putting anything in its proper home. Have the juice out of the cupboard to make a drink? Still on the kitchen side... Buy him a box to keep his PS controllers in... would rather leave on the coffee table... and won't even get started on the state he leaves the sofa cushions in!
When things are not where they should be you'll be expected to know where they are
Get your crystal balls out girls... I'm constantly getting asked the question "Do you know where my ... is" to the point where I have just started rolling my eyes and ignoring him!
I could probably go on all day. And as much as all these things drive me crazy, weirdly you learn to live with them. Im sure Adam could probably write an equal list about me.
