Hello my lovelies!
How are we all??
So its official.. I did it.. I finished my course! Wooo! Yesterday I clicked submit on my final assignment and ah man did that baby feel good! I'm not gonna lie, the last 12 month has been hard. I don't honestly think when I decided to apply for this course just after christmas last year that I knew what I was letting myself in for. Well for a start I honestly never thought I would get on the course in the first place. The course itself is the Mary Seacole Programme which is run through the NHS leadership academy and is a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership. I wanted to do something since my degree is in ICT and I have no formal management qualifications at all (unless you count my teaching degree which they don't) so I looked to this. It was funded by the hospital I work for so I figured what harm was there in applying - they only offer 25 places across the west midlands so I wasn't hopeful. Then I got a place. There were times I wanted to give up. Times I had to sacrifice things I wanted to do but sitting here at the end of it feels great and I am so glad I stuck with it.
Its just under 10 weeks now till we get married (9 weeks and 6 days - not that I am at all counting) - I can not quite believe how quickly it is now coming around. I had my first hen party with the girls from work last week - what a fab night - those ladies certainly know how to spoil a girl - and I am all excited for my next one with Adam's family in Sheffield in 2 weeks (it was wayyyy easier to do his family in Sheffield then everyone here seperately as the numbers were getting mental) - plus i get to spread out the celebrating.
Now all that work is out of the way I am hoping that I will start to get a bit more me time! Like time I can sit and blog - man I have missed you guys! I have finally found myself perking back up my love for blogging again - not that it ever went away completely but I feel like my spark is back. I can't wait to finally have the time to sit and enjoy things like blogging. Ive just spent the last hour watching youtube videos while I had a lovely soak in the bath with a lush bath bomb and a face mask! It really is the little things!
Anyway my lovelies! Have a fantastic week :)

I've worked a lot on my mindset recently. After months of so many things going on it's the one thing that sometimes has kept me going! So.. I start something new.. Mindset Monday. A little picture or quote to start your week off in the right way!
Hey! Remember me... Im the girl who once upon a time used to blog!
First of all how are we already in the middle of March?? Someone explain that chunk of crazy to me! Everyone kept saying to me once Christmas was out of the way that the wedding would be here before we know it! Well guess what! Its coming thick and fast! Its officially less than 100 days (95 to be exact) and my dress is now hanging up in the shop waiting for my fitting instead of just on order! Shit getting real!
Ive missed my little corner of the internet! I have in no way fallen out of love with blogging at all. I still read blogs every day however I think I just got to the point where I wondered did I have anything of value to say? And was anyone listening anyway? Blogging has become so popular over the last few years and I have been blogging 5 years this year.. I think sometimes you can become a little bit lost wondering where you fit in to the puzzle when actually there is no puzzle to fit into! Blogging is about you!
So I have decided. This blog is going to be what I want it to be. I am not going to ramble and follow what everyone thinks I should be doing or saying. If I want to blog about it I will. I never intended for this blog to be about falling into one category. I want it to be a bit of everything. After all life is made up of everything.
Right.. What have I been up to you ask.. Well in the last month.
Probably the most exciting thing to happen was Adam won a holiday to Mexico! Seriously! 5 Star all inclusive spa resort! I won't go into mega detail but the company he works for (signet) put on an incentive so in May we are jetting off for 7 nights in the sun! Perfect timing for a wedding tan!
To be honest, as excitement, thats about it. Adam and I have been making good use of our Cineworld Unlimited Cards which I am going to review separately. Obviously there have been lots of wedding bits going on too - suit fittings, dress fittings, shoes sorting, table plans, meetings with people.. its all coming together now :)
I hope you are all well. Catch me up with all your gossip!
