I have been on the search for a new pair of boots which I could wear for everyday for a while now however my chunky legs usually leave me sad and depressed when trying to find any. I popped into New Look on Saturday with my mum and I fell in love with a pair. I wasnt hopeful as I tried them on, especially when I saw they were pull on with no zip. However no only did they go up my leg, they didnt look bad!
I have only worn them a couple of times but I am in love already! I cant wait to wear them with some chunky autumn winter stuff or some thick coloured tights :)
As I said they were from New Look and they were a total bargain at £24.99. They do them in brown too which were really nice but I dont really wear a lot of brown and went with the old cliche that black goes with everything!
So as promised I wanted to share with you my trip to the Vintage Fair yesterday. I have been to a few local vintage fairs and stumbled across one in Manchester a few christmas' ago but have never been to one of this size!
I did pick myself up a little vintage bargain in the shape of a lovely pair of black shoes! They were a little bargain at £10! How cute are they! There were some fab shoes there - I saw another gorgeous pair similar to these in a corally colour but alas they were a size too small :(

There was also a lady doing vintage hair and make up there but for a sunday and none special occasion and at £15 to have your hair done I just could not justify it considering it would have to come out/would have fell out when I was my hair tomorrow morning in the shower. However I have been having a nosey on youtube for some hair ideas for a wedding I have in July! So again if I try any I shall share them with you :)

Heres the vintage fair! There were so many lovely things I could have genuinely spent a fortune! There were lots of clothes stalls with lovely clothes on, the only problem I found is being of a large size (*cough cough* not a size 10 *cough*) there was nothing which would fit me. However there were some lovely dresses there and they have inspired me to get some material and start to make my own dresses and skirts! Mum has even said she will dig out her sewing machine! I cant wait to get some material and I will of course keep you posted on any lovely things I make :)
There were some lovely jewellery stalls there too which again gave me some lovely ideas of things I could make - there were lots of buttons around which as you can probably tell I love!

How lovely are these though! Just the perfect heel height for me and with a cute little bow! I shall get some serious wear out of these babies!
