So today is Ash Wednesday which for all of those who know a little bit about Christianity will know that it marks the start of Lent.
If you think back to last year I posted this post to let you all know what I was giving up for Lent so I thought I would do the same this year. I want to do again what I did last year, get rid of all the crap in my life that seems to be sneaking - not as much since I have been 100% focused on slimming world but they do have a habit of sneaking in. So here is what I have decided to give up for Lent 2012.
Also during this Lent I want to start saying thank you to God more for what I have. It is often easy to forget all the good things we have in our life and just be sad for the things which are lacking.
Are you giving up anything for Lent this year? What are your lent sacrifices?
