This is the third time I have attempted to write this blog post! I write 1/2 last week on my way to work and somehow the app on my phone decided it was going to delete it! How rude!
Ive mentioned before what an absolutely nightmare foundation shopping is for me. I don't know what it is, I always end up being between 2 shades. Some seem to look too light while others look too orange. I think this is one of the reasons I fell in love with foundations from brands which have a counter attached to them because you don't have to rely on your own ability to match the foundation and can have match it for you. Again another reason that I fell in love with the No7 match made foundation service. Again taylor made for your face.
I had read a lot of things about the Match Perfection Foundation and when my foundation was starting to come to an end, I decided to have a mooch at my local stand in Boots. I swatched the shades (of which there are 10) and got down to the shade Classic Beige. I popped in my basket but to be honest I wasn't really optimistic, so many foundations have followed in its footsteps - made it home, been applied one or twice and gone into the 'why did i buy that' draw.
Well Ive been using this foundation for a little under 3 weeks now and I have to say I am in LOVVEEEEE!!! This shade is perfect! It blends beautifully and offers a great coverage! Also in the range they do a concealer which i may eventually try and a powder.
Have you tried any of this range? Were you sold???

Last week after bitching about my hair for what felt like forever, I decided it was finally time to do something about it and perk it up with a colour.
As I stood in the aisle with sooooo many different choices in front of me, I didn't really know what to do or which one to go for. I pondered with a couple of different ones I'd had before but then I spotted and decided to go for the Schwarzkoph colour mask. I am not going to lie, i was drawn in with how easy this looked to apply. Since moving out its not has as easy as whacking a chair in the kitchen on a Sunday afternoon anymore.

I decided to go for the colour 550 golden brown - mainly because I wanted to perk my hair up and cover the greys I found - sniff sniff but I didn't want to do anything to drastic.
Basically the gist of this little beauty is rather than putting the colour developer into a squeezy bottle you put it into this tub and shake it 40 times - rather specifically. Then you scoop the product our of the jar using your hands (obviously with the gloves on)
I am SO impressed with this product. I love how easy it was it apply. It smelt AMAZING and the product looks amazingly natural!!!
I will defiantly be using this again. This mask is priced at £6.49 and can be brought here - Boots also have an offer on for buy one get one half price.

I am pretty sure that I have mentioned this before but for those of you who are new around here, I am a guide leader! I absolutely love it and have been doing it for nearly 5 years now! I honestly love nothing more than seeing those smiley faces on a Wednesday night...
Last week was the start of our new term for 2015 and obviously the first guides of the new year. In our hall we have a display board which we try and update every term. Last week we decided to get rid of Santa and update the board with dorm thing for the new year. At the start of the year, most people like to think about goals and aspirations and so we decided to ask the girls to write down what their goals and aspirations were.
As we were going round reading some of them and eventually pinning them up on the boards, I was quite shocked by the amount of girls who's posters said something about losing weight! Our girls range from the age of 10-14 and non of them are overweight! It got me thinking about it after I left guides and all week in fact.
There is such a pressure of the teenaged and young people of today to constantly look good. Magazines/Facebook and other social media is full of posts about stars looking good and losing weight ready for donning their bikini's. How many can we honestly say stand on the front of magazines and say it doesn't matter what you look like or be happy how you are.
Girl guides have an badge called free being me which advocates all about being yourself and being happy with how you are! I think after last week it is as important as ever that this is something we need to do!
It has seriously got me thinking about this is week and I definitely think this is a topic you are going to see some more of on my blog!
So I have been thinking for a while about shaking up my blog. I love my little space here on the internet but I felt like I needed something new...
A couple of people have questioned me recently about my instagram name... why are you called unloved button... your engaged and live with your fella. Half tempted to go into the story behind my blog name which I actually developed not because I was unloved but because I used to like collecting random "unloved" buttons and use them to create something a bit cool...
Anyway the more I thought about it the more I fancied a bit of a rebrand of my blog and so after a lot of thinking and blogger trying (seriously every time I thought of anything I remotely thought sounded good it either wasn't available on Blogger, Instagram or Facebook!) - My Beautiful Forever is born!!!
I hope you will continue to stick with me! I am in the process of getting organised and I have lots of posts planned for the upcoming weeks! I am going try and continue with the post schedule of Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then any additional posts on other days will be a bonus!!!
If you have anything you would like to see let me know and I will try and accommodate :)

Im not a great lover of sale shopping. I hate when you go into a shop and its like a jumble sale with clothes and people everywhere.
I decided however it was about time I treated myself to some new work wear - I recently got a promotion and you know when you just feel like your wearing the same stuff all the time? Anyway after having a mooch at the sales online I decided to head to Dorothy Perkins last Saturday. Now the thing I love about the Dorothy Perkins Website is that you can browse at your leisure online and see if the items you love are in stock at your local store. Obviously you still have to go into the store and find what your after but knowing what your after is a start eh!
Anyway onto what I brought... I decided to set myself a budget of £50 and although I actually spent £56 I am really happy with 1) what I picked up and 2) how much I got for my money.

So as promised, I thought I would share with you my favourites of the past year. 2014 was a pretty whirlwind year with so many exciting things happening! Warning this post WILL be photo heavy!!!
Probably the best thing about 2014 is getting to spend the year with this amazing boy! I literally feel like we have been together forever (although we have been friends forever)
Im sure you can guess what this is all about! Right in front of the castle at Harry Potter Studio Tour, Adam got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.

Picking up the keys to our first home!!!
After everything that happened with Dad in March, me and mum should have been going to Chester for Afternoon Tea for Mothers Day but unfortunately we couldn't go so we celebrated at home instead.
Packing the car after our trip to Ikea - Tetris Champions!!!
Packing up my room at mum and dads, Pepper decided she wanted to help!
We celebrated our first night sleeping in our new home (where we literally just had a bed and a couple of other bits of furniture) we had no sofa and so spent the night on camping chairs but we made it work!
Spent a fab 2 weeks in Ibiza with Mum and Dad

These 2 little additions to our family have brought us nothing but joy and laughter this year!!!
We went to a family party where we all dressed up as different characters. Adam and I went as Micky and Minnie.
In September we went to Centre Parcs with Adams Family. A fab 5 days and I even got to get all outdoorsy and ride a trike - Seriously i need one of these!!!
We then spent a lovely weekend up in Sheffield with Adams family. I got to meet new addition Edward (Teddy) on the right who is Adams Best Friends little boy and absolutely gorgeous and spent the entire weekend running round after Jacob (Adams Nephew)
For the first time in my life I carved a pumpkin!!
We celebrated by putting our Christmas tree up!
Eeeeek - Went to the Good Food Show and Met Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry
We celebrated with our normal family tradition of Christmas Breakfast at Toby Carvery on the Saturday before Christmas - just the 4 of us complete with Christmas Jumpers!
We had a lovely christmas day and I was spoilt by the boy <3 Just a couple of my presents!
I cooked turkey and Christmas dinner for everyone and didn't kill anyone!
We ended our new year by spending the 2 days (NYE and NYD) with Adams family up in Sheffield - the alcohol flowed and we had an absolutely fantastic time!
And that in a nutshell is my 2014! What a year!!! I can't wait to see what 2015 holds :)
♥
Hello 2015! I know we are nearly a week into 2015 but yes this is probably the first time in the last week I have actually had time to sit down and catch up with you guys! Blogmas may have been a complete fail but unfortunately i was unwell at the start of December and ended up spending the day in hospital and then came down with this dreaded lurgy that everyone seems to be getting! Then I just wanted to enjoy mine and Adams first christmas and new year together which we certainly did.
We decided (due to Adams shifts and it being our first one) that we wanted to spend Christmas at home so we invited my mum dad and brother around for christmas lunch and they stayed into Christmas Evening. Then on boxing day we went round to mum and dads when my nanna and grandad came up and we spent the evening playing board games.
We then had a lovely new year by spending it with Adams Family and again we had an absolutely fantastic time.
2014 was a pretty amazing year - I am going to do a year in review over the next year so stay tuned for that.
So... Goals for 2015... 2015 is going to be a fab year! So here are my goals for making this year a fab year!
- Lose some weight - Obviously we are now counting down the days to the wedding which is officially next year now and I would quite like to lose a bit of weight before then so this is definitely one goal I want to definitely complete for 2015
- Read More - I would like to read 12 books this year - I really love reading and would love to start reading more.
- Be a better blogger - I feel like I let my foot off the pedal a bit in 2014 with the blogging... I only managed 78 posts last year which is not even 2 a week... compared with the 162 in 2013 its a bit pants! I must be better.
- Attend more events - I had never been to any blogging events before last year and last year I went to 3 each of which I really enjoyed! I would love to attend more blogging events this year.
- Take more pictures - last year I treated myself to a lovely new camera - The EOS M and I want to use it this year to more pictures.
Im sure I will develop more goals along the way...
I have so many things I am looking forward to this year - We have booked to go to London for a weekend in March, Florida in June and then at the end of the year I will start wedding dress stopping!!! Eeeeeeeek!
What are your goals for 2015???
