I can not even begin to tell you how many times I have gone to sit down and write this blog post. My last post had such hopes for ending 2015 and then I'm not going to lie... Everything fell apart. Just after writing that post my grandad was rushed into hospital.. He spent a week in and was discharged and then was readmitted not even a week later and has been in ever since. For just over 5 weeks now I've spent my nights backwards and forwards to the hospital - I'm not going to lie it's been a horrible time. I haven't even been able to think about putting pen to paper (or finger to screen), I didn't feel at all Christmassy and Christmas itself passed by without much joy. Hopefully now grandad seems to be on the up and is over the worst. He seems to have picked up everything while he has been in there but fingers crossed we have turned a corner now!
2015 has had some pretty shite moments spattered with a couple of good times. Ive lost 3 friends to cancer this year and have another 3 still battling it!
However looking forward 2016 is gonna be epic!! We can finally say (as of tomorrow) we are getting married this year!!! Not only that but my brother is getting married too. I'm so excited for hen do's, weddings, honeymoon!
2016 is going to be the year I turn my shit around. It's going to be the year I finally get my act together and do something about my weight and also focus on my health. I turn 27 in Feb so I want to get my act together in terms of goals I want to achieve. I need to sit and think properly about it and I will do another post.
I hope you all have an amazing year! Here's to 2016!!!
Today I wanted to write a post inspired by a recent video of the lovely Estée (aka Essie Button previously) who posted THIS video on her channel this week.
I've said before there are not enough hours in the day but I there are so many things that you always want to make more time for. Today I want to share with you some of things I want to make more time for:
Exercise
Me and Adam have had gm memberships for around 3 months now and I don't think I could even tell you the last time we went. I want to make time in the week (time when I would otherwise be sat in front of the TV. The silly thing is I actually enjoy the gym when I get there it is just dragging my butt there...
Reading
I have a book shelf full of books I have never read. I want to read them. I want to get passionate about reading again. Even if it is just 15 minutes a day before bed I want to pick up a book. Let me know if you can recommend any good ones?
Cooking
Since I moved out I've got into cooking more than I did when I lived at home. Over the past couple of months I have been experimenting more and more with new meals. I want to continue to try different things instead of just going for the same quick options when we get in from work.
Blogging
Again something I've said many times. Even if I just pop on for 10 minutes a day and update you all on whats going on. I don't want this to be a place I don't update you on! Especially over the next 12 months or so, they are going to be very exciting what with the lead up to the wedding and then the honeymoon and then obviously we will have our first year as a married couple! I want to document all of this!
Being Offline
Adam and I made a deal that we would have date night once a week. This is usually a monday but if we are both busy like we were this week we pick another night. This doesn't have to be a night where we go out. It may just be a night where we curl up and watch a movie putting our phones and laptops down. However on other nights we get in the habit of sitting with our laptops on different sofas! More offline time (which would obviously make #2 easier)
I think 5 things is enough to go at for now. I want to work on these between now and the end of the year and then have a look at them again. As my life is reaching a new stage, I need to change the way I am doing things. So I am hoping this will kick start that!

Happy Monday everyone!
The more observant of you will notice I have been tweaking with the blog layout and design again.
I figured that with some new found inspiration of blogging and a new outlook ahead of me I figured a new design was in order.
Anyway a short and sweet one for you today! I thought I would offer a bit of Motivation for you on this lovely autumn morning!

How is it even November already? It only feels like 5 minutes ago since we were welcoming in the new year and here we are with just 60 days left in the year...
Recently the lovely Lindsey whose blog My Dolce Vita I have followed and loved for a long time, through weddings and both her beautiful babies being born and growing up. She recently started up a new blog over at A Lindsey Christmas Story - I am so glad she is back blogging again because I love reading about her precious life and watching her babies grow into beautiful young children.
Lindsey restarting her blog has inspired me. She said in her first post in her new blog something which I have brushed on several times. I just want to write. I want to document and be able to look back and smile. This next year is the start of a very fun a venture and I want to document the ride.
Adam and I have been making some exciting plans! We have plotted out what we are going to do for our honeymoon - were planning on going on a little european adventure - Starting in London then going to Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome! I am so excited.
Lots of little details are getting sorted for the wedding now. We think we have chosen hymns and picked the people we want to do readings. Its all coming together now.
I can't believe its counting down to christmas again! It really does not seem like 5 minutes ago since we were shopping for our first christmas tree last year. I love the lead up to Christmas - Christmas markets, Nights snuggled up in front of the fire under a blanket with a candle burning (who am I kidding - take away the blanket and thats me all year haha), we have been doing christmas music in choir practice for a few weeks now and I love the services at church around christmas! All very exciting!
So my plan is to be back. I still want to talk about make up and beauty.. about life.. health (I have been trying lots of new recipes recently) and everything else that tickles my pickle. I am going to really try to make the last 2 months of blogging better that the rest of the year, which lets face it I have been pants!
Thank you for sticking with me for the ride. I hope you will stay on the roller coaster - I promise it will be more interesting!

Hello my lovelies.
Once again, another month has nearly passed and life is continuing to be hectic!
Since I last sat down and wrote a post its been another mental few weeks so I thought I would sit down and catch you up on the craziness - especially which has gone on over the past week.
So one quite major thing which happened is that we have a new addition to our family - no I haven't kept a pregnancy secret from you all - we increased our fluffy family :)

Meet little Albus. We have had him a week and we are so much in love already! Bella and Luna have settled down now (they were a bit sheepish at first). He is 9 weeks old and is a crazy little nutter. Adam has wanted a ginger cat for so long and when we saw him online we both fell in love.
Last week I was off work and we had a complete wedding week. On Monday I met with a couple of florists and got the flowers sorted for the wedding. On Tuesday me and Adam went and met with the lady who was doing our chair covers and added the table decorations - I was SO impressed with the lady. When we booked the chair covers at the wedding fayre we went to last year and we never got to meet Sarah the owner. I was seriously happy with her when we met on Tuesday. She had so many good ideas with what we wanted! I am so excited!
Then on Wednesday the MOST exciting thing happened!!!
I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!!!
We had scheduled the appointments and Adams Mum (second left next to me) came down from Sheffield and we headed off along with my mum (far right) and my Nanna - next to mum.
The first shop we went to were lovely. I tried on a dress I had previously tried on at the Wedding Fayre in Manchester last October and instantly fell in love again and despite the fact we went to 2 other shops and I tried about 20 other dresses on it just didn't match up to the first one and I went back and ordered it!!! I am so excited and I can't believe I have finally found it.
On Thursday afternoon, Mum and I went up to Sheffield with Wendy as on Friday we had a Mac Makeover! I have wanted one for agggges and it was an absolutely amazing experience!
I absolutely loved how they did my eyes. Not quite what I had in mind as was looking at wedding looks however I loved the colours. A little too dramatic but I picked the colours up and am hoping I can do something less dramatic. It was so lovely though and defiantly something I would recommend.
So I think thats me all caught up! I hope your all ok! Catch me up on your gossip!

Its weird.. for a couple of weeks now I have been feeling a little anxious about the neglect I have been giving my little blog. Yesterday while I was procrastinating I pulled up the main page of my blog and notices that in 2015 so far I had only written 26 blog posts and that pang of guilt came back again.
I dont know why I do this to myself. I have never been one of those people who felt like I was blogging to a massive audience but there is something even with a small audience like I have that just makes you feel guilty when you leave it so long.
Anyway today this post popped up on to my time hop - LINK - that I had written exactly 1 year to the date last year and it brought in some perspective for me. Dont get me wrong I absolutely LOVE my blog and there is no way I just want it to die away in a corner. I want to use it as a way of looking back and documenting things. On the flip side of that my life has suddenly in the last 18 months gone from me living at home with my mum and dad worrying about which nail polish I was going to buy next (ok so not really but you get the gist) to having a house, a husband to be, planning a wedding, starting a post graduate certificate with the open university, paying bills, cooking, cleaning, running our own business, looking after 2 cats plus all my other commitments like Guides (soon to also be Rainbows and Brownies), Church, Choir.... my head spins just thinking about it all. So you know what I think I need to just take a second and think hang on! My life is pretty mental!
Like I say I do not want to forget about my blog because I love it. Its a way of me to talk about girly stuff Adam doesnt want to hear about, document all the plans for the wedding that we can look back on as well as being an awesome community that I want to be a part of!
Since we last caught up at the beginning on July when we had just got back from America. July and August have just seemed to go by in a flash! Heres a quick overview...
I think that's about it! It doesnt sound a lot but add in a couple of weekends where we have been up to Sheffield visiting etc and its just been mental!
I am going to try and make a bit more time in my mental life for Blogging now! I have recently got an Ipad with 4G so hopefully I can do some on the move! I want to keep this updated with wedding plans and our lives - I have a week of in a few weeks and its all weddings including dress shopping and Mac Makeovers!!!
Hope you are all well!!!

Since we last caught up at the beginning on July when we had just got back from America. July and August have just seemed to go by in a flash! Heres a quick overview...
- I have spent most of what little free time I have working on an assignment I never thought I was going to get done,
- I have been offered a 3 month promotion at work which is awesome!
- Adam and I launched our business and although I haven't had a lot of time to work on the business itself, I have been using the products which are AMAZING! So keep your eyes peeled for some reviews on those!
- I booked a mini moon as a surprise for Adam - back to the holiday camp we met 16 years ago in Great Yarmouth - we are going there on the Monday after we get married
- We have planned (we think) our Honeymoon which we are going to go on in September next year (lots of weddings next year including my brother in August so spreading it out) and we think we are going to go backpacking round Europe
- Its only 41 weeks and 4 days till we get married!
I think that's about it! It doesnt sound a lot but add in a couple of weekends where we have been up to Sheffield visiting etc and its just been mental!

Just because, ya know I havent got enough going on in my life, me and Adam have decided to start a new adventure.
One of my friends contacted me a few months back about a company called 'Forever Living' and asked if i would be interested in joining. To be honest it was at a time when we had just moved house and things were hectic and I just passed it off. However over the last couple of months I have a couple of people including my friend who had first contacted me, doing really well with the business.
Last week I decided to bite the bullet and speak to my friend again and see what it was all about! Adam and I had a bit of a chat about it and decided we would explore it as a way of earning some extra money for our wedding next year. We met Helen for a coffee on Monday and on Tuesday I watched a webinar by Helen's mentor Abi who last month earnt £17,000!!!
Last night after watching the webinar while I was texting Helen I threw caution to the wind and I ordered my business in a box which is one of the ways to get into the business and I am so excited! We are meeting Helen and her fiancé Gio on Sunday again for coffee to talk about our business plan and get us all started!
Exciting times ahead!!!

Ok, lets just ignore what a bag blogger I have been over the past few weeks and have a catch up!
Since we got back from Florida, life has been SO hectic!
We decided once we got from holiday we would start up again with the planning for the Wedding since it was 12 months the day we got back until we got back. We has previously arranged for the Theatre we are having our reception at to do our Save the Dates and we had already had a sample through of what they would be like which were fab so the day we got back I emailed Jackie who is sorting everything for us and she got them printed. When they arrived we were SO excited! We sat one Friday night for about 3 hours jazzing up the envelopes as when we looked online the coloured ones we wanted were ridiculously expensive. So we improvised. We decided to use our thumb prints in the colours just to make it different.
We had also decided once we came back from America that our not so little girls would go on their first adventure outside!!! We thought they were starting to look really big until they got outside where they looked TINY!!! They absolutely love it though and love being off exploring!
Last week, my mum turned 50, and unknown to her I had been planning a surprise party since about the middle of May. Im amazed we actually managed to keep it a secret! It was fab though! Especially since one of her friends from school who she hadn't seen in 30 years came up from London for the day!
Me and Adam also decided that we were going to join the gym when we got back and that we did. I picked up myself a pair of florescent pink trainers in America just for he occasion. I'll do a separate post about the gym and stuff probably in a couple of weeks so keep your peepers peeled for that!
Thats about it for my gossip caught up with! How are you all!?!?!

Ahhh Jet Lag! That pesky little thing that pops up just when you least want it! There is nothing worse that stepping off a flight and feeling like you have been hit by a bus! Here I wanted to share with you my top tips for avoiding it! I swear by these and managed to avoid the dreaded jet lag this time!
I'm sure everyone has there own little tips, these are just tried and tested ones! I've seen things on Pinterest about limiting types of food you eat before you travel etc but I've not ever tried that. Remember Jet Lag is often worse when you travel east because of the time you are losing so it is worth taking that into account.
- Drink Drink Drink - Make sure that you keep yourself hydrated. I brought myself 2 large bottles of water for the plane coming back and made a conscious effort to make sure that I drank it all
- Adjust your internal clock - It can be hard when the sun is still shining outside to go to sleep but thats what you need to try and do. If you should be asleep in your destination do it. Virgin supply you with ear plugs and eye masks to help with this. We took off from Orlando at 8pm there time which was 1am UK time. I tried my best to get some sleep as early as I could in the flight make sure my body was prepared
- Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol - Its hard but you really need to give this a try. Caffeine and Alcohol only make you more awake and mess with your internal system. Definitely better to go for water instead. you will thank yourself in the long run!
- Try and Book a night flight - particularly if you are coming back from the US this one is a definite recommendation. You can sleep overnight on the plane and feel as fresh as a daisy when you land.
- Stretch - Nothing makes you feel more crappy than not moving for hours on end. whether its actually getting out of your seat and going for a walk or just stretching your arms and lets where you are, you will defiantly feel better if your muscles have a bit of stretch in them.

So the rules in the UK that you can not take anything onto a plane that is over 100ml and nowadays they make you put them in a clear bag, 20x20 in size.
I came across the bag I used on a recommendation from one of the Youtube Channels. I have one of the ones from muji (I can't find the exact ones which used to be 19.5 x 19.5 but its seems to have shrunk - here).
The set I brought is from boots and comes in a set of 3 - here - the smallest one is perfect for taking in your hand luggage.
When I actually pulled it out of the pack when I got it home, I saw shocked as I thought it looked really small. However you will be surprised how much this little beauty holds.
I literally managed to jam pack as much as I could in here. Luckily I have a bit of a thing about mini products and have a basket in my spare room where I like to keep bits so when I am travelling I can just pick stuff out and not be faffing.

So what was in this little beauty:
Sani + Hand Wipes
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Thirst Relief
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Nivea Cleansing Wipes
Delacour Face Serum
Clinique Even Better Eyes eye cream
Nivea Hydro intense lip balm
Sensondyne Tooth Paste
Slim Sonic Travel Toothbrush
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour hand cream
Liz Earle Toner
Hayfever Tablets
With a flight as long as Florida (9 and a bit hours to be exact) you defiantly need to treat yourself mid flight to a bit of pampering. I didn't wear any make up at the airport but if you did I would start by taking that off. About half way through the flight I did a little routine with some serum, face and eye cream and then hand cream. I packed my travel suitcase so I could brush my teeth coming back as we had an overnight flight and although Virgin supply you with a toothbrush I just can't use a non-electric one.
Do you have any on flight beauty saviours you wouldn't be without???

Hello my lovelies!!!
I hope that you are all well! Ive landed back down to earth with a massive bump after a lovely 2 weeks in Florida. I actually text Adam yesterday and asked if it had been a dream!
So I thought I would spam you with photos on this blog post. I had all the best intentions of sharing lots of posts with you while I was away but that just went out of the window! In fact I didn't pick my laptop up once while I was away (the one blog post I did manage I did from my phone).
So here is a rather large collection of photos! Enjoy and I will be back with another post on Friday! Its gonna be a good one - if you want a sneak peak - head over to my YouTube Chanel where I have uploaded a video today! It may be a cheeky little haul (or not so little).

Ahhh Magic Kingdom! So aptly named!
We didn't think it would be right to spend the first day of our holiday anywhere else, especially since we have Adams 5 year old nephew with us who was desperate to meet Micky mouse.
Now let's be honest, it doesn't matter if your 5 or 26.. That visit to Magic Kingdom is a special one.
We started our day with the obligatory visit to the shop to get suitable head gear! Adam went for a sensible hat while I decided for Minnie ears, because when in Disney eh! We did have fun trying on some other hats though!
The one thing we did do, which was awesommmmme is meet Micky Mouse!
Deffo an amazing first day! :)
Ok so lets just ignore the fact I have totally gone out of sync of the blog schedule I wanted to keep to and embrace a new post! I promise when I get back from holiday its gonna get more organised and frequent around here!!!
So lets be honest - any beauty blogger or beauty luster heading state side has a wish list - heck you would be crazy if you didn't. And i have totally budgeted for a little bit of state side splurging when I was sorting my spending money.. so heres a few things I am wants to pick up.
Ok so before we talk about state side I thought I would just sneak a little airport duty free want in - because ya know, you have to indulge there a little. Last time I went to Orlando I picked up a paint pot from Mac in Bare Study. Its probably the best damn thing I have purchased in a while because it holds my make up in place all day.
And there you have it! I am sure I will come back with much much more but you gotta have a starting point right! If you have any recommendations, let me know!!!

I was watching a video the other day online of wedding make up and I saw a tutorial which used this. It looks beautiful. A little more matte that the bare study which I would like as that has quite a shimmer to it.
Right on to the good stuff...
Lorec Pro Palette
I don't think there are many bloggers or you tubers who have been to the US who havent picked up this little beauty! Its gorgeous! They have some amazing ones and I can't wait to look, swatch, and no doubt buy.
Wet and Wild Products
There is nothing specific I want to pick up in this range but I have heard great things about their products and want to give some a go!
Its a 10!
You may remember last time I went to Orlando and picked this up - I raved about it for months and was gutted when it ran out. I may even go mad and get 2!
EOS Balms
I was so shocked when I saw these in Topshop the other day for about £7 - I brought 2 or 3 of these back last time and loved them so will deffo be stocking up on some more.
Cover Girl
I had a couple of products from Cover Girl last time which I loved. Deffo be picking up some more.
L'Oreal Setting Spray
I have read some great things about this. Not sure if it will be any different that the Mac Fix Plus I have but interested in a look.
Essie Polishes
Essie polishes are soooo much cheaper in the US! I particularly love this shade Peach side Babe from their summer collection. Some polishes will definitely be making their way home with me.
Yes to Cucumber
Again a product I have heard raved about. I try not to use make up wipes although I have heard good things about these ones but I believe they do many other things in the range so interested in a look at the other products.

I can't believe its the 1st of June tomorrow! How crazy is that!
I am currently sat chilled, feet up in a hotel in North Bristol watching the Britains got Talent Final which is a bit random but honestly theres an explanation! I mentioned in my last post about my course I am doing, you have to do some leadership workshops. The first one for my group was scheduled to be in Birmingham on Thursday but I had other more exciting plans for that day - thought I would pop over to Orlando :P
Anyway the workshops are mandatory and the only other date I could do was tomorrow and when working it out, it was actually cheaper for me to come down the day before and stay over so I did. I am actually glad I chose to do that as the journey was a little crazy and would have been incredibly rushed on a Monday morning.
I had a right palaver getting here. First I couldn't find platform 12 at Birmingham New Street because I had booked a train which meant I had to change. Basically I got off at Platform 1 on the complete opposite side of the station and the platforms don't run in order - there are 2 sides to them and platform 12 is round with 1-11a and b.
Then when I did find the train Virgin Cross Country decided in their ultimate wisdom to mix up the carriages which when your frantically looking on a busy platform is not good. I was looking for coach D which you would expect to be between C and E but apparently they felt it would be a good idea to go C, E then D...
Anyway I arrived. I have a lovely hotel room. Its weird though I've never stayed been anywhere like this on my own. I can defiantly recommend the Holiday Inn Express though.. Just look how fab this room is!
The workshop is actually at the Holiday Inn a mile down the road from here but they wanted £112 a room which didn't include breakfast or wifi!
This room cost me £60 and included free wifi (which actually is pretty amazing and not your usual hotel crappy wifi) and breakfast which for the sake of walking a mile up the road you can not fault!
I am looking forward to the workshop tomorrow, I am a little nervous because it is going to be all people who have all met each other in their previous tutorial but I am going to use this as a good opportunity for networking and meeting new people - I think sometimes it does us a bit of good to step outside of our comfort zone!
On another note, only 3 more days until our holiday begins!!! I am sooooo excited!

Oh hey!
Where on earth have April and now nearly May gone??? I can't believe that it is nearly June. But on a more positive note - 9 days until we go to Orlandoooooo!!!!
So what have the last 2 months been filled with??
We have been getting the house well and truly sorted. I can not believe that we have only been in this house for 2 months. I can't even begin to tell you how much happier we are! We have got the garden sorted and brought a BBQ (and it has practically rained every day since).
I've also officially started my uni course - if you havent seen on Twitter or Instagram - I'm studying a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare leadership through the NHS Leadership Acadamy. I have literally spent the whole of my bank holiday writing my first assignment which is due to the week I get back from Florida. I am glad it is finally out of the way! I did have visions of sitting doing it on the plane! Phewwww
We had a lovely weekend in Centre Parc's back at the end of April. It feels like a lifetime ago now but we had a fab few days and a very relaying spa day on the Monday which was just what I needed.
At the start of this month I finally booked an appointment to get my hair sorted!!! I have been thinking about it for agggges as my hair has been feeling tired and drab for a while and I had been looking for a new hairdresser because my other one is closing down. I plucked up the courage and booked an appointment and OMG i am Sooooooo happy with it! It has really perked my hair up for the summer and I am already booked in to go back and get it cut before I go away.
A few weeks ago I spent a very lovely but very wet weekend camping with my wonderful Guides. Despite the fact we got soaked and one of the other leaders wanted me to sleep in the bunks inside I did rough it in the mud with the girls in my very own little tent!
The next couple of weeks may get a bit sporadic. The good thing is that we are staying in a villa and we have free wifi so I should be able to keep you updated on my travels! However if anyone wants to do any guest posts while I am away let me know!
One thing I am sure you will be able to look forward to is American Beauty Haul when I get back! If you have anything to add to my wish list let me know! I defiantly want to get my hands on some Its a 10! again if I can as I LOVED that when I used it before!
See you soon lovelies.

How often have you felt labeled? It is quite easy for us to define someone as "Pretty" or "Smart" but these labels are so one dimensional.
Venus have a new campaign which they have called their #useyourAND campaign.
You may have seen some of this around the internet. Louise at Sprinkle of Glitter made a video around it this week. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that used this campaign as part of the work we had been doing with our Girl Guides called Free Being Me.
The idea of this campaign is as the name suggests to Use Your AND... - here is the video Venus produced which sums the campaign up perfectly.
This is a campaign I really want to see get a lot of backing and I am so glad that Louise has made a video about it and hope that it gets on the radar of others too! How many time has someone said to you "you are pretty" or "you are smart".. when someone says something like this to you as the video says.. Take a stand! USE YOUR AND!!!
Yes I am a blogger AND I am work full time as a manager AND I am a guide leader AND I am creative AND I am Christian AND I sing in the church choir ... there are SO many ands you can add to a sentence!
I challenge you when someone says something to you... think about it and add an AND to the sentence!

Hey lovelies!! Remember me!!! Finally I have a new house and INTERNET!!! Wooooo!!!
I have so much to catch you all up on! There has been a lot going on since I was last here.
I mentioned in my last post that me and Adam were moving house. Well we are in and have been in 2 weeks now and I can not tell you how happy I am! This house is so much better. Don't get me wrong the other house will always be our first home together but it just got to the point where we were so sick of the land lord messing us around. I suppose that is the trouble when your renting but the new house is so much better. It feels so much like home already! I am looking forward to lots of happy times.
I am also very very excited for the summer! I mean just look at our fab new garden!!! I can not wait for late night BBQ's!

Also as we now have 3 bedrooms, it meant we effectively had 2 spare room. We turned one of the spare rooms into a guest room but we also have a little box room which we decided to turn into my office / craft room. I was going to paint this wall but instead I decided to dress it up with some bunting mum got me from Wilko's at Christmas.
I love the furniture we picked up on a trip to Ikea! The desk was a total bargain at £22 (here) and these cube storage are part of the Kallax range and start at £20 for the white (here). As I add bits too it I will be sure to update you!
Last time I posted me and Adam were off to a fab weekend in London!
We had an absolutely fantastic weekend. We saw 2 shows - Phantom of the Opera on the Friday and Lion King on the Saturday both of which we AMAZING! We went to the film museum and saw the Bond exhibit (which Adam loved) and spent an afternoon browsing Regent and Oxford Street. It was a busy weekend but definitely the break we both needed. We were SO lucky with the weather too!
Next weekend we are off to Centre Parcs for the weekend with Adam's family - we have a day booked in the spa which I can not WAIT for - have a facial scheduled too! Also its only 8 weeks till we go to Florida! I am also starting a uni course in Heathcare Leadership and Management too this month which I am quite excited about! I will keep you updated on everything!
Hope your all well! What have you all been up to???

Hello Lovelies...
How are we all??
I felt like I should nip on and do a quick catch up - its been a couple of weeks and its been pretty hectic!
Last weekend we organised a surprise party for my Nanna and Grandad's 50th Wedding Anniversary which was absolutely lovely. It was such a great evening and a big shock for them as they both had no idea.
Me and Adam also celebrated a year together last Sunday! I can't believe how much everything has changed in a year! Its crazy!
We are off to London for the weekend tomorrow (setting my alarm for 5.30 on a day off definitely hurts) but I am sure I will be Instagramming and tweeting like crazy so make sure you are following me on there.
For those who are following me on twitter and Instagram you will also know that me and Adam are moving house! We have been in our current house 1 year at the end of March and to be honest when we started talking about the tenancy being up for renewal there was just no question in my mind about us moving - this house will always hold a little special place in my heart as mine and Adams first home together but we have had nothing but problems with both the estate agent and the land lord - so we are onwards and upwards (to the next street along) into a 3 bed semi - a proper family home that hopefully I can see us staying in until we can afford to buy. I will be sure to share any homie purchases that I make along the way.
It does mean that things are probably going to be a little bit quiet around here over the next month. We still havent got the keys for the new house yet and we have to be out of this one by the 26th so its going to be a tight and quick move!
Bare with me! I promise I will be back :)

Unless you have been living under some kind of anti internet rock you will have seen the influx of books being released by YouTubers.... Zoe, Tanya and Fleur have all released books in the last few months.
Tanya's book is a bit of everything.. there is snippets of her life and childhood, her life with Jim as well lots of tips and tricks that she has picked up along the way.
I was really looking forward to picking the book up on its release date and was even more ecstatic to find it in my local WHSmiths the weekend before it was released.
I took to reading the book straight away and I didn't want to put it down once I picked it up. It is the sort of book though that you can pick up and put down as it has lots of little snippets and chapters.
It was interesting reading how Tanya got to the point where she is today. It is easy to forget she you watch these videos of these stars they all started as normal people who just decided to pick a camera up one day and record a video.
I have read a couple of reviews that said this book is aimed at a young audience however I totally disagree. I feel this book was really well pitched for all ages.
You can pick Tanya's book up on Amazon here for £6.49
Have you read Tanya's book? What did you think?

I don't very often come on here and talk about my faith or things to do with church but since its that time of year again I thought I would. For those of you who don't know Ash Wednesday is the day after Shrove Tuesday (or pancake day) and signifies the lead up to Easter.
It is tradition for many people around the time of lent to give something up. For the last few years I have decided to give things up. Lent is about a time of reflection and removing things from your life. However I also know people who decide to take things up for Lent as well.
This year I have decided to remove the following things from my life for the period of lent:

I am hoping as well as a time for reflection it will also give me time to reflect and focus on my heathy eating.
As well as giving up something for Lent I also want to take something up for lent as well. You can follow my progress for what I will be doing and how is it going on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (links at the top).
Are you giving or starting anything for Lent??

It is a bit of a pain in the butt that during the month of February we have both mine and Adams birthdays. Mine is the 8th and Adams is the 21st and smack bang in the weekend between them is valentines day.
I really struggled with what to get Adam, I had a couple of ideas... and as I do with a lot of my ideas I took to my friend Pinterest!
I really struggled with what to get Adam, I had a couple of ideas... and as I do with a lot of my ideas I took to my friend Pinterest!
This is where I found the basic idea for these Open me when envelopes. The basic idea of them is that you write lots of different envelopes with ideas and notes in.
Here are the ones I did:
Open when... we need a date night
Open when... you need some luck
Open when... you are feeling ill
Open when... you have a tough decision to make
Open when... your missing me
Open when... Its the 20th June 2015 (1 year to go)
Open when... You need a pick me up
Open when... Your doubting yourself
Open when... your mad at me
Open when... Your disappointed
Open when... you need a laugh
Open when... you need to know how much I love you
There are so many possibilities that you can do with these envelopes and they would be suitable for all kinds of situations, not just valentines day but birthdays...christmas...
Have you ever seen anything like this?

Hello lovelies! How are we all??
Just thought I would Bob on and do a quick hello while I am munching on my weetabix!
Have we all had a good week?
This week has flown by! I had a lovely weekend last weekend celebrating my birthday which of course you had to drag out for as long as you can! We went for a lovely meal with my mum and dad and Adams mum and dad - and of course Adam then on Sunday we went for a little trip to one of the local garden centres not far from us which is awesome and has a huge hobby craft, Lakeland and lots of other little shops. We had a lovely coffee and piece of cake and coffee and then in the evening we went round to mum and dads for tea where by brother and his fiancé also came round. It was a lovely way to spend my birthday!
This week has been a really busy one especially at work. Me and Adam have also started house hunting again. We have been in our house nearly a year now and the tenancy is due for renewal at the end of March but we have been discussing moving to somewhere perhaps a bit bigger or more homely. As nice as the house we are in is how, we are paying a lot of money for what we have. I am going to have a look at house tomorrow which I love and is perfect so fingers crossed.
Xxx
Seriously how quickly did January go? Im not going to lie January was a pretty crappy month as starts to the year go... a lot of shit went down.. a couple of friends have been diagnosed with Cancer and work has just been crazzzzzy. Onwards and upwards though.. and before we totally push January to the back of my mind, I thought I would share with you my favourites of January...
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - Review here - This foundation has had some serious love this month and I am SO excited to have finally found a drug store foundation which is a brilliant match for my skin.
I picked up Tanya's book just before its release date. This book is a mix of tips as well as bits of Tanya's life. I am real enjoying this book and I will do a proper review as soon as I am done.
For the first 6 seasons I watched Greys Anatomy religiously. Then I missed a series and you know how it is you quickly loose touch. We upgraded our Sky + recently to include the box sets and low and behold there was Greys Anatomy :) I have loved getting back into it!!!
Mac - All that Glitters - My Mac palette has seen some love over this month and this is one shade I have been loving! It is such a gorgeous, goes with everything and perfect everyday shade. Defiantly one of my favourite purchases.
When I first purchased this Bioderma I have to say I wasn't instantly sold. However I have been using it more and more and have to say I can finally see what all the hype is about...
Other notable favourites for this month:
Planning Exciting Trips to London
Finally getting our dishwasher plumed in (its the small things)
Dorothy Perkins and their bloody awesome sale
Getting back into crafting and making some cards
