As you may have seen from my blog post the other day, Models Own are currently running an amazing offer on their website - 50% off when you spend £25 (which is SO easy to do). They started the sale in conjunction with gaining 100k likes on their facebook page. I picked up a few bits, some I had been lusting over at the Models Own stand in my local Boots for a while and some that I liked the look of.
Here is what I ordered:
Have you ordered anything from the Models Own Sale?? Which products are you loving??
Here is what I ordered:
Top Row:
Nail Art Pen in Black - £6
Eye Lash Curlers -£6
Kabooki Brush - £10
Blending Eggs - £6
Nail Polishes - All £5:
3 in 1 Base coat/top coat/gloss
Raspberry Crush
Vintage Pink
Jade Stone - Ice Cream Sundae
Lilac Dream - Ice Cream Sundae
Bare Beauty
Raspberry Crush (I somehow ended up ordering 2 but I love it so its ok :P )
Colours on a Nail Wheel
Overall my order should have come to £63 but instead cost me just £31.50 (plus P+P of £2.95) I ordered the products on Wednesday afternoon and the products arrived on Saturday. I was so impressed with how fast it arrived especially with them having the offer on I prepared myself quite understandably for them to take at least a week to arrive!!!
I absolutely LOVE models own products and I am SO happy with the ones I ordered. I could have spent an absolute fortune! I was tempted by Juicy Jules which you all know how much I loved last year but my bottle still has some in and I thought I would try some new bits.
I did a mani yesterday with the one I accidentially ordered 2 of Raspberry Crush which I really love. I teamed it with Barry M's Pink Sapphire Glitter which I think look fab together! I cant wait to try some of the other colours.

This tag has been knocking around on blogs for a few weeks now so I thought
I would jump on the blogging band waggon and have a go myself. Basically the
idea is you do your make up and then you add up how much all of the make up you
have used comes to (excluding tools). So here goes.
What I used:
- Witch Anti Blemish Primer -£6 (I think - they may have stopped making it)
- No 7 Stay Perfect Foundation (shade: cool ivory) -£14
- Rimmel Wake me up concealer (shade ivory) - £5.99
- Rimmel Stay Matte Powder -£3.99
- No 7 Mineral Perfection Blush (shade: damson) - £9
- No 7 Limited edition (from the summer collection) bronzer -£12 (I think)
- Rimmel Wake me up instant radiance shimmer touch (Shade Shimmering Sand) -£4.99
- ELF Eye primer -£1.50
- Accessorise Lovely Day Palette - £8.95
- Maybeline Gel Eyeliner (Black) - £7.99
- Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara - £9.99
- Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter (Shade: Berry Smoothie) -£7.99
Total -£92.39
I actually dont think that is too bad... compared with some of the other total's which I have seen online this is relatively low, but then all of these things were either brought in Boots or Superdrug - apart from the ELF eye primer. I tend to stick with the more budget high street brands, probably the most expensive stuff I tend to buy is as you can see here the No 7 products.
Have a go at this tag and leave me a comment if you do it. I have enjoyed reading other peoples TAGs to see what their totals are.
Models own have been running competitons and things on facebook for the past couple of weeks and have been aiming to reach 100k followers. They have reached 100k followers their afternoon and have offered everyone the chance to get 50% off their website.

Do you love models own?? Use the code above.. it saves 50% when you spend 25%
A couple of weeks ago I saw a video online about a new
service which No7 had introduced and apparently had been working on for 3
years! Basically it’s a technique where by the small sensor takes 2 pictures of
your jaw line – one either side – and matches your perfect foundation colour.
Over the last month or so No7 have had an over hall introducing a lot of new
colours into their foundation range and this gadget is designed to help find
the right one for you.
I have used No7 foundations before and have found ones that
I really liked however more recently I got drawn in by the Rimmel wake me up
foundation which I liked the feel and consistency of. I used a whole bottle of the Rimmel but the
second time I purchased it I ended up with a different shade which was too
light so when I saw this No7 gismo I jumped at the chance to get matched
properly.
Now it wasn’t that I was sceptical about the match service,
Ok maybe a little bit. I went to one of my local boots stores a few weeks ago
to see if they did it. Now when I spoke to the lady on the counter, she wasn’t
really sure what she was doing (she was from the perfume counter not the No7
counter) but gave it a go. She put the machine on my face – with the makeup I
already had on (I was wearing No7 BB cream) and told me I was Cool Beige.
Something in the back of my mind told me to take a tester pot of the colour –
regardless of the fact I was desperate for a foundation. I took it home and
tried it and the colour seemed to be ok, not perfect but similar shade.
On Saturday me and mum went into the bigger town where we live which has slightly larger Boots. I went in with the intention of buying the colour that had already been suggested and that I had tested, since it seemed ok. When I was hovering the lady asked me if I was ok and she asked if I was interested in having the foundation testing service done so I thought – why not.

This time the lady sat me down onto one the makeup stools
asked me what my skin type was. She then used a toner (for normal/dry skin) to
remove the BB Cream which I was again wearing and then used the machine. This
time it came out as a Cool Ivory. Then she moisturised (again normal/dry) and
primed my face, put the foundation on in the correct colour and then put my
blusher and bronzer back on too! The colour was a perfect match. It had a great
coverage but you could barely tell I was wearing any foundation!
I took advance of the 3 for 2 offer which No7 currently had
on and got the moisturiser and toner which she used as I haven’t really been
happy with my moisturiser recently. Also because I spent so much you get a
voucher for £5 off skincare and £3 off makeup which you can use on your next
purchase so I will have some fun using those too :)
Have you tried the new colour match service from No7???
Impressed or not?
If your following me on Instagram (@unlovedbutton) then you will know that yesterday me and Matt went to the Harry Potter studio tour in Levensden Studios near Watford.
We are both massive Harry Potter fans, we are the generation who started reading the books as children and gradually grew up with them.
The Studio tour opened this year allowing fans to gain access to the real life sets where the film had been shot including the great hall, the dormintories, dumbeldores office as well as being able to knock on the door to number 4 Privett drive, hang off the back of the night bus and sit in the Ford Angelia which Harry and Ron crashed into the Whomping Willow in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
The tour itself costs £28 to go into which is more than worth its weight in Gold. We paid an extra £10 to get the souvenir guide and the digital guide which saved us £5.
I would say to you even if a teeny tiny part of you loves Harry Potter then go on this tour. There were people of all ages there and from what I could tell varying levels of Harry Potter love including the hard core fans in the robes and scarves to the family I heard in the shop looking the wands (Kid: Mum whos professor Lupin... Mum: Oh hes that bad guy... Kid: Whos Siruis Black?... Mum: I have no idea) - I mean really!
Walking around the sets was truly amazing.. there is something about knowing you are walking round seeing things that have actually been in the movies! Standing where the actors have stood! Its fab! My favorite part by far was the model of the castle which was used for the exterior shots in the films. You can not truly appreciate how it makes you feel unless you are there... I really could have cried when I saw it. Me and Matt went to Wizarding World of Harry Potter a few years back where they have built the castle as part of the attraction at Universal Islands of Adventure... Its amazing but seeing this model yesterday.. there was just something about it.. something different that took my breath away.

Knocking on the great hall door... Not all that convinced by Butterbeer...
The Mirror or Erised... The model of the castle - amazing!
