Off to London

So at this very moment me and Matts are currently sat on our way to London!!!
I am very excited for a lovely weekend and we have lots of exciting plans! I am hoping to kick off some vlogging while there and i have lots of exciting beauty posts planned for when we get back as well as telling you all about our little adventures!

I am also hoping to get a new laptop Monday *fingers crossed* So normal blogging should resume!

Neglected...

I feel like i am neglecting you all the moment but then sometimes i wonder if anyone is listening anyway...
Anyway this week was Matts birthday and we had a lovely night out for a carvery and the quiz which we do every week. I was really looking forward to giving him his birthday present as i got him some tickets for wicked and i was bursting to tell him :)

Me and matt are off to London next weekend to see West End Live which is a big concert in trafalgar square where the west end shows perform! So excited and looking forward to a weekend away. I will do some blogging and stuff.

At the moment because i am so busy at work and stuff im not getting much chance to try new things. But i must try harder with both this and my YouTube channel :D

MUA Lipstick

Now I am a firm believer in the fact that make up does not need to cost a lot of money. Sure you get what you pay for a lot of the time and yes I squee at the look of Mac and high end brands like that but I have a total love for easily avaliable products that you can get by just nipping in to your local boots, superdrugs or sometimes even your local supermarket!
MUA or Make up acadamy is a brand which is avaliable in Superdrugs and online. Its basic MUA range is all £1 and the MUA professional range is £1.50 to £4 including things like Primers, Eye shadow pallets and BB creams. Overall MUA brands itself as selling high end products at affordable prices. 

To be honest I hadnt tried MUA until probably 6 months ago. I was under the illusion that if something costs just £1 then the quality couldnt be that good could it???

After reading several blogs and watching several videos that Louise at Sprinkle had made mentioning the below lipstick I took the plunge and brought one. I had always wanted to be a bit more daring and try red lipstick but never found one that I liked or was cheap enough! I didnt one to spend a lot of money on something I wasnt going to like but for £1 I didnt really had much to loose. 

Heres some pictures for you! The lip pencil is one that I brought from cosmetics fairy a few weeks ago and again was £1. I was a bit dubious at first as I couldnt match the colour but I needed to get my postage up so I would get free delivery :P
 This lipstick is Shade 13 from the MUA range!. It is a lovely bright red shade and comes out really well. It also feels a little creamy too which I love as some lipsticks tend to dry your lips out.

Jubilee Fever!!

So Happy 60 years on the thrown to our lovely queen!!! And hasnt it been an excuse to be all patriotic and don red white and blue for the entire weekend! I am currently sat watching the Jubilee Concert on the tv! How good is it! This post to be honest is just a bit of a random spattering of Jubilee stuffs :P But I thought it deserved its own post!

I also wanted to share with you an OOTD - I dont do these very often but I love this new dress I brought last weekend so I wanted to share it with you :D



Dress: £22.99 from New Look (from the inspire section) 
Cardi: £6 from Asda

I teamed it today with a pair of thick black tights and a pair of lush red and cream heels! 

I hope that you have all had a lovely Jubilee Weekend whatever you have been doing. I am back to work tomorrow as unfortunatley I dont get to have 4 days off just 3 but I do get to take my day somewhere else in the year which to be honest is better! I am taking it 3 weeks when me and matt are off to London for West end Live which I shall probably blog about on its own :)

Quick Hello

Hey everyone.

I know I have been MIA the last couple of weeks. Its been a bit hectic, I have been settling into my new job which I am absolutely loving and Matts mum and dad have been away so I have spent my last couple of weekends at his house which is when I usally do my blogging.
Having the lovely extra day off tomorrow I am going to sit down with my laptop and do some serious blogging!!! So hang in there :)
