Ermmmmmm oh man! It was hard enough to think of the first one let alone another one... Hmmm
Right ok, Got one...
My lucky number is number 2.. (there's more)
The reason this started off as my lucky number generated from a board game I used play with my mum and brother growing up called pay day. It's where you go along a board shaped like a calendar and different stuff happens on different days (sat = lottery etc)
Anyway number 2 on the payday board was to win £5000 and I always used to want to land on that square.
And since then it has become sort of a lucky number... I also like it because it's an even number..
Ok I thought of another one.. I'll share it since there's no random fact #3...
I've got a thing about odd numbers. I can't put the tv and stuff on an odd number (unless it has a 5 in it because to me that's round) weird eh?

So day 6...
I dont really like this... I wouldnt say that I hate anything about myself.. sure there are plenty of things which I dont like about myself but in terms of really hating anything I wouldnt say there is anything...

Hmmmm...
I have always quite liked my eyes! I have got really green eyes and quite long eye lashes! I very rarely have to wear much mascara to get a good look on my lashes which is good as I don't really like to wear a lot of mascara anyway! I always think less is more :)
In the rest of my life had a really good day at alton towers yesterday although I really hurt my foot (no idea how) and it is really painful!
Spent the entire day today crafting which I haven't done for absolutely agggggges! I really enjoyed it! Here's 2 of the things I made for my best friends - one of who is being induced today and the other who is due 10th September (and I hope she doesn't change the name) :P
Very happy with how they turned out! Have another couple of projects in the line so will keep you posted on them :)

To be honest this is quite a hard one!
I have to say the perfect date would be something quite simple.
Perhaps a nice meal somewhere quite but not too quite... Somewhere with enough people for it not to be awkward but quite enough so that we could chat properly...
Either that or a nice picnic in the park... Sitting on the grass in the sunshine having a lovely picnic... Perhaps a game of frisby or ball and maybe play on the swings or park :P
:)

Ok excuse the no makeup look :P
So today is take a photo of your yourself and describe your day. So today I have been up to quite a bit. Started off this morning by going to a vintage craft fayre which was absolutely ace! I love vintage, crafts and anything unusual (as you may be able to see from my scrabble tile necklace on the photo above) so I was looking forward to going to get some ideas and see if i spotted anything nice. I did buy a couple of badges, a flower and another one which says vintage <3 I could have quite easily spent an absolute fortune as they had soome ace things like some lovely hand knitted hand warmers, picture frames, cushions, jewlellery - I could go on...
After that we went down to the Monkey forest at Trentham where my brother works. They have got a photography competition on at the moment and me and my dad enjoying photography as we do we wanted to go down and take some photos to enter. So me mum and dad went down this afternoon. It was lovely because it was really sunny and warm. I got some good photos, the only problem being I cant decide which one to enter in the competition now.
Hmmmm so day 2. A random piece of information about myself.
The best random fact about myself I can think of is that I am an 1/8 Jamaican (I think it’s an 1/8). My dad’s grandma was from Jamaica. It’s quite strange because when I tell people I have an element of Jamaican blood they can almost see it. My hair is very dark and I only have to be in the sun for about 20 minutes before I start to tan. However my brother is the complete opposite. He has practically bleach blond hair and 9 times out of 10 goes red rather than tanned in the sun.
Here we are together. See complete negatives of each other. He is blond with blue eyes and I am dark with green eyes. Strange eh? This is at his 21st about 3 weeks ago :)
Genetics is something which really fascinates me. Tracing my family tree is something I really want to do, it may be hard to do on my dad’s side as there are not many people who could start it off now but it would be interesting to try. Maybe sometime in the future.

So whilst reading google reader today, I came across this image and thought what a good idea it would be to challenge myself to write on my blog everyday. Heres the image:
Day 1 - What you want to be when your older.
When people ask what you want to be when your older, most children change their mind about a million times before choosing something completely different. However when people asked me what I wanted to be when I was older as I was growing up, my answer was always the same; I want to be a teacher. I have never wanted to do anything else. This is a dream which is almost a reality. I am now technically trained to be a teacher of ICT having just finished my PGCE. I just need to find my dream job now.

So with no job to start planning for, for September I have been looking for ways to keep myself busy during the summer holidays.
Before starting my PGCE I spent a lot of my free time scrapbooking and card making but had no time once I started my teaching degree. However I was thinking the other day about starting it up again to pass some of the time over the summer.
During a mooch on some of the image blogs I am following through google reader I found some really cool ideas for things which I could craft (the images on the right). There were several really cool things which I saw which involved photo frames and buttons. I was thinking about starting up my crafting again perhaps to make a bit of money through making cards and was thinking about the fact I could decorate photo frames too.
So I set about looking for picture frames. All the ones I seemed to come across were really expensive and if I wanted to make some money on them would have to charge more than I was thinking. So I went on to Ikeas website just for an idea. There I found the perfect picture frames which were £1.67 for 3 frames! However to my sadness you couldnt order them online :( We live right in between 2 Ikeas with the nearest 2 being around 40 miles away so thought I would have to keep looking.
Today however we should have been going to the Monkey Forest at Trentham Gardens where my brother works but when we got there it started raining and we decided not to bother. Jokingly I said we could go to Ikea in the rain and before I knew it we were on our way to Ikea at Wednesbury :)
And I managed to get my frames :) they are perfect! I got 10 lots which means I have 30 frames :D I shall have some fun crafting on them :) I shall keep you updated with the designs as I do them!

This week seems to have gone really quickly. I can't believe it is the weekend again.
I spent Thursday and Friday of this week in Manchester at a conference for newly qualified teachers which was being run by one of the unions. I have been looking forward to going for a while now - I booked the tickets in early July and it seems to have come round really quickly. Anyway it was all expenses paid trip so :)
We stayed at The Midland hotel which is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Manchester. It is an absoutely lovely hotel. I couldnt believe it when I arrived, It was really posh!!! We had a lovely 3 course meal on Thursday evening and drinks and then Friday was the conference which was really really interesting. I also met some really lovely people from all different places! I cant wait for the next one in November :D
Anyway here is a bit of photo-spammage of the hotel and my amazing room :P

I am always on the lookout for new products to use during my skin care regime. When I was doing the shopping online at Sainsbury’s on Friday, I was attempting to get the shopping to over £60 (as I had a voucher for £12 off when you spend £60) and remembered I needed a new face cream as my other was running low. I get quite dry skin so like a moisturiser to be quite rich.
I have been using Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Regenerating night cream. However, when I went on to Sainsbury’s website I noticed that Clean and Clear had a new range of products out; Clean and Clear Morning Energy, which were on an introductory offer price of £2.50. There were 3 different types which you could choose from; Shine Control, Skin Energizing and Skin Brightening. Cheaper than the Nivea product I usually use and intrigued by the fact that this was a new product I ordered the Skin Brightening Daily Facial Scrub and the Skin Brightening Moisturiser.
When the shopping came this morning I was desperate to try the new products. I always think that first time you use something is like a bit hit and miss…. What if you don’t like it… what if it isn’t very good!
Obviously I have only used it once but already my face feels lovely. As soon as I had washed my face in the face wash I felt like it had given my skin and instant glow. The products both smelt absolutely lush – it contains lemon and papaya extracts. I always think this is a bonus – I hate it when you use something that smells terrible.
The moisturiser was lovely and felt quite thick and gave a good coverage. It didn’t leave my face feeling greasy which I sometimes find that moisturiser can do.
So yes… so far I am impressed with it and would definitely recommend giving it a try.
On Wednesday me and my friend Matt went on a little day out to the sea side and took a trip up the M6 to Blackpool.
Blackpool is one of those places we always seem to visit at some point over the year - at least once but usually we go into the town, spend a bit in one of the big arcades, spend a bit of time on the front and the beach and usually dont go any further than central pier.
I havent been to the Pleasure Beach for probably about 13/14 years and the last time we did go I think we only went on what was then the Playstation (see that shows how long ago it was... when playstation was just PS1)
It was a lovely day too. We sang along to Disney songs in the car, got lost in the car (in fairness we were following the Sat Nav) and ended up taking a detour around Preston but we did eventually arrive at Blackpool where the sun was shining. It was nice because it actually wasnt as busy as I was expecting. Being the summer holidays I was expecting it to be rammed and we would be queuing for stuff for hours but we werent. Although we did have to queue for most things they were not massive queues.
All in all it was a lovely day. I even managed to tick one of the things - ride the pepsi max - off my list :) Here
On the way home we called into Preston again (this time planned) and found a nice little pub for something to eat.
What I wore:
This is the only photo I can find from that day where you can see my whole outfit so sorry for the fact its not a very good photo (and excuse the look of sheer unhappiness on my face - I hate rope bridges like this :P )

So today my mum and dad have been married for 24 years :D Happy Anniversary to them. Cooked them a special tea tonight rather than going out which was nice :)
I thought I would stick with the theme for the day, I have been seeing on Google reader recently quite a few quirky or unusual ideas for wedding days so thought I would share with you!
I quite like some of these ideas, particularly the shoes and the bridesmaid dress one! Also LOVE the unique invitation one :) Although getting married is probably a long way off for me yet, I love the idea of doing something different like this :)
