On a trip to Superdrugs this weekend, I did so well, I got as far as the till without a nail polish in my basket and darn it if Superdrugs didnt have the new MUA rebranded polishes right there by the till in their pretty new essie style packages! And I spotted this colour I could not resist!
This is the shade Moody Mink. It is such a nice dusty lilac colour. The MUA bottles have really rebranded themselves and remind me so much of the Essie bottles. In fact this shade reminds me of an Essie Shade - whose name escapes me..
These polishes are lovely! They retail for just £1 and the consistency is amazing. It is lovely and goes on really well and was opaque in just 1 coat. Especially for the money, usually you get cheap nail polishes you find they are really sheer and need about 20 coats to get this opaque. I also found the brush really good too and it isnt all spraggly which you sometimes find with cheap polishes. I have seen some other ones of these polishes online and they have some lovely colours so I will defiantly be keeping my peepers peeled for them!
Have you tried these? What do you think?

My first official photo!
My first official photo!
I mentioned a few weeks back that I was going along to my local Benefit counter to have a look at the new Fake up concealer. I really like benefit products and have found a recent love for them - also getting my mum into them to with the world famous neutrals eye shadow set I got her for mothers day. I was excited when I read all about the new concealer that claimed to have intense moisture in it compared with the other ones on the market which seem to get dry and start creasing around lunch time.
I had a good old chat with the girl on the counter - Rachel. I really like the girls on my local Benefit counter, I find them really friendly compared with some on the other counters who I sometimes think look down at you a bit when you go near. Anyway I am rambling. I got chatting to Rachel as she tried out the new fake up, first on the back of my hand so i could feel the moisture and then on my under eye area.
When she put it on she mixed it with a bit of the pearly highlighter - Girl meets pearl. She matched me at Shade Medium and of course the fake up came home with me. I have been using it ever since. I know - compared with others on the market - at £18.50 this is at the higher end of the market for concealers but I would have to say it is worth every penny. I love how this feels on my skin, it blends so well and stays moisturised all day. I cant fault this at all!
As I have said Fake up is avaiable for £18.50 from Benefit counters or online. If you have a local benefit counter go along and try it out - I challenge you not to walk away with one!!!

I went to a wedding on Saturday and wasn't it a fantastic day for a wedding. I decided to treat myself to this little beauty of a dress since I have this wedding and another wedding coming up in August. I fell in love with it instantly when I saw it sitting on the rail in Dorothy Perkins. I was a little disappointed to see they didnt have my usual size but they had a size smaller and I decided just out of chance to try the smaller size on since i loved the dress so much. I was so happy/surprised to find it fit me that I knew the dress needed to come home with me! I am so in love with this dress. Its so pretty and very spring/summer weddingy. I teamed it with the purple cardi for the evening reception which was a 40 minute drive away from where we lived and it was going a little chilly. I love the detail on the bottom of the dress, you can just see it on the top picture, it has a slightly see-through lacey bit which is so cute.
I will definately be getting some wear out of this dress during Spring/Summer for all those lovely occasions :)
Hey everyone,
Wow where have the last couple of weeks gone! I can not believe that it is nearly the end of April already! Where on earth did that go???
The last couple of weeks have been manic. I have been putting lots of overtime in at work and things have been all up in the air with everything. "Hopefully" things may be starting to settle down now. Hopefully everything is all sorted and I am not planning on doing too much more overtime now. Not as much as I have been. Over the past 4 weeks or so I have been doing 45-50 hour weeks which is slowly killing me but I want the extra pennies for Florida so it will be worth it when I can enjoy my holiday.
Speaking of holiday, I cant believe it is just over 5 weeks until we go! It seems to be coming around so quickly! I have made some holiday purchases which I will share with you in the coming weeks :)
This week I finally got my 2 stone at slimming world which I was extremely happy about, I seem to have yoyo'ed the last couple of weeks and it really slowed (or came to a stop) which I was really unhappy about especially when I put on having been really good but I lost 3 1/2 this week so now I am on 2 Stone and half a pound. I am hoping I can get to 2 1/2 stone before my holiday.
I promise I am going to start posting and sharing with you all again. Stick in there, I know I say it all the time but I am going to be here! I have decided to post on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and over the weekend... i'll see how it goes, if I post on other days its a bonus then :) obviously when I am away I will try to blog every day but for now I am going to try and get a regular posting going

Wow April already! Firstly how on earth did that happen! I cant believe it has nearly been a week since Easter! Time just seems to be going too fast recently. Sorry I have been a bit AWOL over the past week, life has been pretty hectic what with an office move at work and then putting in some overtime (which is being paid so you cant really turn down - more pennies for Florida). I can't believe that this time in 8 weeks we will be in Florida! Can not wait!!!
I have started collected a few bits.. I got something last week which I will do a quick post about at some point before I go and then review when I get back when I have used it.
I am off to town today as I was invited to try the new Benefit Fake up concealer a couple of weeks ago when I went and was made an appointment. I have heard good things about the fake up and I will definitely be purchasing. The only trouble is trips to the Benefit stand always end up expensive :P I will keep you update as to what I buy and what I think of the new Fake up.
Not really much else to keep you updated on at the moment. I promise I will keep you updated with lots of lovely posts etc... I have been thinking of a few different post ideas - one of which a girl at work gave me the idea for so stay tuned for that... I also have a post on some Essie purchases I made last week after a little pay day splash so look out for that this week too :)
Hope you are all ok xxx
