The website is called Cosmetics Fairy and is basically a discount cosmetics website. From what I can gather they are adding new things everyday as I saw a few different things when I looked today than when I went on at the weekend. It has everything from Haircare, Makeup, Nailcare and even purfume as well as other stuff and it contains big name brands such as Essie, Urban Decay, Sally Hansen, Rimmel - the list is endless.
For anyone who is following JulieG on youtube you will have noticed that she recently brought out a collection of nail polishes. However for us people in the Uk they are not easily avaliable to get hold of in the UK - unless you order them from the Jessies Girl website who are selling the polishes for Julie. Anyway on the Cosmetics Fairy website not only do they have some of Julies nail polishes but they are only 65p!!! They currently have 6 colours on there - they did have 5 but they have added one over the weekend, so i hope that they will start adding some more. I ordered 5 of the 6 polishes which are avaliable (I didnt fancy the dark blue) and a few other things as if you spend over £10 you get free delivery :)
So my little buttons go check it out and see if you can bag yourself a bargain!
Well I have to say I am in total in love with these products - as you can probably guess since there is 2 of them :P
The one on the right is Sugar frosting which I got way back a few months back when boots had that mega 3 for 2 offer off and the one on the right is Berry Smoothie which I got about a week and a bit ago from superdrugs out of their 3 for 2.
The idea of these products is that they build the colour up onto your lips without leaving lips dry as lipstick can often do. To be honest thats why I dont tend to wear lipstick very often as they make my lips feel dry and icky so for me this was an awesome alternative! They retail at £7.99 *but are currently £2 off in boots* and they are avaliable in 14 different colours ranging from red, brown, bright pink and even orange!
In terms of colours of I really like Berry Smoothie one on the right. I think that the Sugar frosting one may have been a little bit light although it did give my lips a deffiate shimmer.
I shall definately be repurchasing these again :)
Are you loving these new lip butters? Whats your favourite shade??
I did pick myself up a little vintage bargain in the shape of a lovely pair of black shoes! They were a little bargain at £10! How cute are they! There were some fab shoes there - I saw another gorgeous pair similar to these in a corally colour but alas they were a size too small :(
There was also a lady doing vintage hair and make up there but for a sunday and none special occasion and at £15 to have your hair done I just could not justify it considering it would have to come out/would have fell out when I was my hair tomorrow morning in the shower. However I have been having a nosey on youtube for some hair ideas for a wedding I have in July! So again if I try any I shall share them with you :)
Are you a lover of Vintage?
I know this is a late one from me but I just quickly wanted to share this NOTD with you. I went into town today and picked up a few things - top, new bag, new purse and some new polishes!
I will share the other things with you over the week but I gave myself a little mani with one of the polishes. It is technic in shade Carnival! It is as you will have seen if you follow me on instagram - AMAZEBALLS! The colours are fab and it reminds me of Rainbow Connection by OPI which i gazed at longingly for ages but never got due to the price tag. I picked this beauty up at the indoor market in town for just £1.99!
I have layered it here over Rimmel your majesty as it picked the colours out well.
I am of to a Vintage fair tomorrow so I shall be sure to share that with you :)
I grabbed my faithful grey cardi which I got out of the sale in Sainsbury's TU range last year for £3. Bargain!! However when I came to fasten it on Friday I noticed I had somehow lost of the buttons, the next to bottom one.
Just your average grey basic cardi. My first thought was to take the top button and move it to where the missing one fell of.
Then when I was in town on saturday I had a brain wave. Why not get some new buttons, something a bit sparkly or glitzy and spruce up the old cardi replacing some of the buttons at the same time!
So these are the buttons I picked up! They were a bargain at 24p each from the sewing/button stall at my local market. And here is what they look like on the cardi.
I decided rather than removing all of the buttons to just replace every other one. And I have to say I absolutely love it! Its totally given my cardi a new look without costing me a fortune. I mean for the 3 buttons I used its only cost me 72p!!!
Have you ever spruced up your clothes by changing the buttons or making adjustments???
I used Rimmel London Peppermint as the base which is the perfect colour for a bit of vintage style nail look.
I went for an interview on Wednesday. I applied for the job, not to be honest even thinking I would get an interview let alone being offered the job! But now I officially going to be a medical secretary! :) I start 2 weeks today and I am really excited to get stuck in :D
Anyway along with the job comes the dilema about workwear. The job I am in at the moment I have to wear a uniform so I dont have to think about it but its up to me in this new job what I wear.
I had a quick mooch in town on Saturday but didnt really have a lot of time to look - I did pick up 2 pairs of trousers though - a grey pair and a black pair. But having a look online here are some ideas of some workwear stuff that I am loving at the moment and some things I wouldnt mind getting my hands on.
I love the classic workwear look so classic trousers with blouses or cardis, and a nice classic handbag. And of course a lovely pair of classic shoes!
I am going to go into town next week and have a really good look when I have a proper chance to look. I will share with you anything I get.
Bicky posted the photo for May a few days ago so I thought I would share it with you.
I shall be doing it this month and posting the images onto Instagram. If you want to see them and your not already following me on there my user name is unlovedbutton :)
If anyone else is doing this give me a shout! I love to see different peoples interpretations of these things!
