Storage for extra products

When the 3 for 2 offer was on a few weeks ago it got me having a little bit of a think. Whenever I buy anything I always forget where I have put it if it isnt something I dont need to use it straight away. Like the other week when I brought 2 of the primers I love because they were half price.
So while flicking through the Argos catalogue I spotted these drawers for £19.99 and it got me thinking. So the next time I went into town I picked one up to stick in my room.

Here it is! I filled it full of stuff since I brought it. I have been using it to organise stuff. You can see a Hair dye in the second draw down. What I have been doing is any time there is like a mega offer or anything on something I love, I have been storing it in these drawers. Like when they had the hair dye I use half price in Superdrugs I got 2, one to use and one for next time. When they had the 3 for 2 offer on in Boots I got an extra Wake me up foundation and another one of the Blow Dry me Faster Sprays.
Since then I got another foundation which was £4.98 instead of £8.99 in Wilkinsons (which when its something you love is too good to pass up) and have stored my primer in here too.
So heres how it is organised:

  • Top Drawer - Face Products
  • Second Drawer - Hair Products
  • Third Drawer - Nail Items - Clippers, Nail Files, Avon fast set spray, Diamonds and nail jewels.
  • Bottom Drawer - Nail Wheels - I have about 6/7 unopened packages which I have big plans for.
I am so glad I got these drawers. I can just put things in here until they are ready to use. Makes life so much easier as I instantly know where things are when I need them!

Models Own Disco Mix

I went into town yesterday for a pair of new work shoes and came home with a couple of Models Own Polishes (and no new work shoes :P).
Boots currently have an offer on Models Own Nail Polishes for 2 for £8. I've had my eye on this Disco Mix for a while now since I saw it knocking around a few blogs and there was another colour which I have seen that I wanted to get too so I thought since they had the offer on I would go for it.

Disco Mix is a glittery polish which has speckles of Blue, Purple and Pink glitter in (at least thats what it looks like) and is absolutely LUSH!!! I tried it on a nail wheel first and it went opaque after 2 coats. I decided to go a bit funky and try it with the Neon Pink colour that I am loving at the moment. I have seen a lot of people putting it on all their nails but as I wasnt sure how easily it came off I decided to just put it on my 2 thumb nails and my 2 ring fingers!
I am honestly so in love with this polish and with models own as a whole! I seem to be buying more Models Own nail polishes since I first got the Gold Rush. But I really love them and for £5 the quality is amazing. They just seem to glide on and stay on for days!

Do you love Models Own Polishes? What are your favourite colours?

Monday... Again???

How is it Monday again? The weeks just seem to go so fast at the moment!
This weekend was filled with lots of fun at church for our mission weekend. We had a bbq yesterday morning and a lovely church service last night with cakes and wine and me and my choir peeps sang for the Bishop of Stafford.
Also on Saturday I went to a training day with the guides which was actually quite fun. Got to meet lots of guide leaders from all over which was great!

Just wanted to share another NOTD post on the end of this as i <3 it!!! Its Models own ibiza mix and a pink neon colour that i got from sainsburys on Saturday when we went shopping (not sure what brand it it). Much prefer the ibiza mix on pink than on silver as all the colours stand out a bit better!!

Have you managed to get your hands on this beauty yet?? What are your favourite colours to combine it with??

Daily empty

I've never done one of these posts before and I know they are usually monthly empties but I just wanted to share one of my empties which I have used religiously since I brought and love.
I brought the Witch anti blemish primer from a blog sale back in I think it was November and have been used.
I have been using it ever day since I got it and it has just ran out this morning!!! I never thought it would last so long!!! I am certainly impressed. I paid about £2.50ish I think for it from the blog sale and have since brought another 2 when they were half price at boots (its usually around £6.50).

Which primers are you loving???

Product Review - Lee Stafford Blow Dry Wonder Spray

First of all I am sorry for the shocking picture. Who knows why it came out this bad...

So you may have seen that I have had this spray about 3 weeks now but I wanted to properly test it before I came on here to share my opinions on it with you.
I got this product from Boots during their massive 3 for 2 event and it retails for £6.19. I have had my eye on this product for absolutely ages - since I first read about it online but thought it would be one of those beauty products with loads of hype that maybe wouldnt work on my hair and at a £6.19 price tag I thought it would be a waste of money if it wasnt going to work - I mean how can a spray make your hair dry faster right??

This is what the Boots website says:

"Lee Stafford Blow Dry Wonder Spray is packed full of extra special ingredients to improve the smoothness of the surface of the hair and reduce friction, for easier combing and detangling of wet hair. With added heat protection to protect hair up to the heat of 220 C. It also contains a little bit of hold to keep your style once you have blow dried it into place!"

Words can not even describe how much I love this spray! Before using this it used to take me at least 10-15 minutes to dry my really thick hair. Once I spray this spray on, my hair can be dry in 5 minutes at the most! I can not tell you what a difference this has made to my hair!!!And I would event pay the usually retail price for it when the 3 for 2 event ends. It also smells lovely too, if you have used Lee Stafford products before - this one has the signiture Lee Stafford smell! I love it so much I have already purchased another bottle of it while the 3 for 2 offer is still on!

NOTD - Models Own Ibiza mix

As promised my lovely people here is a NOTD post for you. Now this photo by no means does this amazing polish justice! It looks amazing with so many different colours - I did a nail wheel with them on which i will share with you another day (my phone only lets me upload 1 picture to a blog post)

So after gazing at the nail wheel I finally went with this look. Models Own Ibiza Mix teamed with Barry M Foil in Silver.

Have you tried this or any of the other HedKandi range???

Models Own Ibiza Mix

I have been DESPERATE to get my hands on this nail polish ever since I saw Models Own tweeting about it a few weeks ago! Every time I have been into Boots I have looked to see if they had it and have been disappointed every time. While I was on my first aid course yesterday I asked mum to look again in Boots and when I got home I was extremely excited to find out that she had managed to get it!!!
It is part of the new HedKandi Range which models own have released - all lovely for summer and just £5.

Its swatched here over a white nail polish (it looks abosultely amazing - the photo doesnt really do it justice). I have painted it on my nails and will share a NOTD post with you - probably tomorrow :)

Have you tried any of the new HadKandi range??? Which ones do you love?
